We are both correct, I just made the assumption that since you are posting on an American forum using English that you were spelling the word incorrectly.

 

You said I was wrong for using that word, I never said you weren't. So why make this out as a I win scenario?

 

You were wrong for saying whinging is not a word, end of story.

 

And btw, I am not British. Wrong again. The story continues.

I did not actually say whinging was not a word.

also it is whining.

 

I also never claimed that you said I was using the wrong word.

I also did not say you were British, I only highlighted the part in the definition that YOU linked that said "Chiefly British".
