I think it's more of a thinking man's build, mindless spam is not the way it works and that makes it more engaging. You really have to consider which abilities to use on which mobs, depending on their class and status (normal, strong, elite). If you play it right I don't think it's much slower than arsenal and the extra mobility makes it fun and allows you to kite close-ranged mobs.
