Short answer: Annihilation has a bit more survivability with self-heals. Carnage has a bit more up-front damage to kill things quicker, thus taking less damage. ArcadesSabboth Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) If I had to re-roll my Marauder I would level with Annihilation until level 26, then switch to Rage (level 26 is the earliest you can select 2/2 Dominate). There are more 3 mob normal camps than strong/elite bosses and you'll move much faster being able to AOE them down with a single Smash (+100% crit chance after Obliterate). You may need to go back to Annihilation at the very end of the Sith Warrior story due to some strong bosses, but Rage should carry you right up until the end. I PvP with Carnage, but Annihilate would be better pre-26 for the self-heal and slightly higher overall damage IMO.
