SKULLPHYRE
I7 2600k Asus P8Z68 V Pro Gen 3 120g SSD WD Black 1 T drive 16 g corsair vengeance Antec 900 two v3 corsair TX 850 ps Don't know what to do for video card. I run ATI 7970? Kind of expensive but will better cards be out sooner and cheaper? 6970 2g? Good card but soon to be outdated. I am finishing up this build in a few weeks. I don't think the video card situation is going to change much by then?:confused: Edited January 15, 2012 by SKULLPHYRE

I like to run lots of other things on my pc besides games as well. Yeah I know the 6970 is good. I just don't want to have to upgrade for awhile. StargateSGC
Lol well your money to waste on the ram^^ anyway for the card you'll be set for a year or 2 probably more, 6970 is a good card and can handle any game on max settings thats coming out within the next year

Damon_Mott
Oh lord..good luck! 1. First off, NVidia Sucks for gaming. 2. He is using an Asus board so ATi is a logical choice for a card. 3. FlyinSpaghetti
1. First off, NVidia Sucks for gaming. That's why AMD were getting their butts stomped hard by nvidia before southern islands?
ADPowah
This may or may not matter but the 680 was recently released, its pretty beefy unless you overclock. I think the expectations is that AMD will decrease some of their higher end prices.
