The location of which was outlined in a series of documents you collected. Is there any trace of where they ended up, if they made it, or if there even is a promised land on Taris? I won't spoil the finer details, but it gives you an outline of what happened when they arrived there, and what became of those people. Also, the quest literally runs you smack dab into an easy datacron, so its also a lot of Republic's players first few datacrons (if you aren't actively hunting for them).
