spherearrow Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Well, I wouldn't know for certain. But I know that if I did what he does in his RIFT video in SWTOR, I'd leave my back exposed. I tested it too. Strafing away would leave your back exposed. So maybe the mechanics are different than you think they are. you need a sharper angle in swtor than rift, but it does in fact work. up close yes its hard for the kite strafe to not expose the back, but for a instant cast spec ranged (CL wrath sorc) kite strafing is more about gaining space while not losing a gcd (i.e. you can continue casting while running away) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
