  1. It wouldn't be too bad if you could get through the level range of a planet just by doing the class quests.
  2. 27, and just let my sub expire. Before that my playtime varied but with the things this game is missing and the the very nature of its design I just don't have the time to put into a meaningless grind anymore (as much as I may enjoy various aspects of the game.)
  3. The thing is those upcoming features should have been in at launch anyway.

    Nerf the healer!

Hmm then why don't we just have healers spawn without any gear and completely immobile in the middle of the warzone map and forced to respawn on the same spot at death so you can just kill us over and over again? Would you like the idea of having ALL your damaging abilities disabled after an interrupt? No, didn't think so because then you wouldn't actually be able to do what you're supposed to do. Seriously, dps players boggle my mind sometimes.
  5. I know that's what I intend to do. In fact I've stopped doing quests to level at all and just run crew missions and play the GTN between warzones because I don't want to get to 50 because of the gear imbalance.
  6. Wow...that is just...wow. I'm at a loss for words. But maybe so many people play Sorcs because the class quest storyline is really good? Long shot I know

    Slippery Slope

You would actually willingly be there? Seriously?

    Slippery Slope

Actually by even saying anything about it Bioware are apologising. And yes, it was the players' fault for abusing an obviously broken system.

    Slippery Slope

Exactly! Anyone who thinks that what was being done was PvP is just being absurd.
  10. Nice theorycrafting, except there are ALWAYS more dps than healers...so no healing doesn't really get stronger. The numbers might change but the actual effect is the same or perhaps even worse.
  11. Healing is already nerfed by 30% in pvp by default, it doesn't need any further reductions. If it was then literally nobody would play healers in pvp and then you would be dead a lot more often. Or is this a case of nerf enemy healing not our sides? It usually is.
  12. Why do people who play a class like this think they should be solo killing people? Your job is to finish people off and annoy, not faceroll until your target dies. You pick the weakest target and finish them off. THAT is the job of such classes.
  13. No, it wouldn't because Bioware would do the sensible thing and equalize the gear...
  14. Yes, just equalize them. There is no need for pve and pvp gear to be massively different.
  15. I actually really like the idea of class/role based pvp dailies. It would mean you actually have to focus on doing what you're supposed to be doing. A daily victory pvp quest for each warzone would also be a great step forward.
  16. Healers are not OP in this game, not by any stretch of the imagination. Remember calling for an even further nerf to healing (beyond the inbuilt 30% debuff) will not only mean you'll be killing others faster but it also means YOU will be getting killed faster too.
  17. Mainly due to positional attacks, but I always laugh out loud to myself whenever I see them doing it. It just looks completely ridiculous

    50 Bracket Sucks

Umm, no you don't HAVE to win. You could just play.
  19. I absolutely, 100% agree. I've had some absolutely fantastic matches, with ACTUAL pvp in them
  20. I'm playing as a pure healer (it's the role I always play in MMOs whether solo or with a guild) and it's tough to say. When you get the support you need to do your job and not get rofl-stomped then it's great. When you don't, it's not. But then again that's what life as a healer is like in any game. It's quite fun and often rewarding.
  21. I play Republic and I'm not sure. It would be a suitably stern warning for people mass abusing faults in the mechanics should any arise in the future. But it would also make a lot of Imperial players unhappy and likely unsub too (which would be a bad thing since apparently they're like 90% of the game's population, understandably to an extent as well.) They could just strip expertise off the gear (and adjust the stat allocation points where required to be in line with equivalent level pve gear of course) and the main problem caused by this would be non-existent. As for the fact that the unfortunate exploitation of this mechanical glitch resulting in rendering the valour grind meaningless for those who did most of it pre-patch 1.1...well, yes that is a much more pressing concern, one to which I'm not certain there is an answer for. Except a roll back, but of course as mentioned above that could have as many negative as positive consequences. Although of course most of that grinding was done against a constant stream of low level enemies...but that is besides the point. It is indeed quite the conundrum. I don't envy Bioware for having to solve it.
  22. Which is why if there is any specific pvp gear then you make it exactly like (or comparable in quality) to the pve gear. The gap between pve and pvp is an artificial disparity created by the developers. It doesn't need to exist.
  23. Indeed. I'm a Republic player on the fence about cancelling too. I enjoy the game and have been leveling as if it were KOTOR3 (stretched out into an MMO, which it basically is.) However, I am also an experience pvp healer from multiple recent games and seeing the same mistakes being repeated over and over again, especially in a game like this which has such massive pedigree of designers and ungodly budget is rather disheartening. I may stay for a while to hit 50 and finish my class quest, and enjoy the actually fantastic pvp in the sub-50 warzone bracket. But once I get to 50 and jump into that bracket against Imperials dripping in expertise gear thanks to a glitch (and the few weeks of sub50 farming)...well, we all know that's why they had to be segregated from the rest of the population in the first place. Yes, I know I'm not at endgame yet but it's the principle of it above all else.
  24. Was just looking at me Currency panel and realised it would be a little less cluttered if individual planet commendations were changed to be universal Planetary Commendations. That way they remain useful throughout your character's development and it would neaten up that portion of the UI. My apologies if this has been mentioned before, or if this is the wrong forum but for the life of me I could find a dedicated Suggestions forum.
