genpion
Hi, as a solo player most of the time, I have played all classes except Jedi to have their starship. My highest characters are level 22 and level 23.I would really like to know the story of my chars. Unfortunately, SWTOR makes no fun anymore. At least 60 % of my time I spend running and fighting enemies I do not want to fight. And defeating your opponents becomes harder and more time consuming as you level up, at least until level 20. I wish Bioware would introduce teleporters to the quest area and back. Most probably this will not happen. Thus I wonder what you are doing to have fun. Are you playing in groups all the time ?Is it all about PvP and equipment farming ?Do you like the running and grind ?
fruitofvictory
Sounds like you have little to no patience, and that is your problem. Teleporters to quest areas? Why, so you can skip content? really now. Clearly RPG's just aren't for you if you are that impatient.

If you've tried every class up to getting the ship and are not enjoying the game there's nothing anyone can suggest to help. Games not for everyone, there's nothing wrong with that. nitan
I don't know the Republic side quests.. But for Empire it is mostly to safe a planet, from being overrun by "enemies" That can get tiresome by the end of the day, but then again.. I like this compared to other games, as I alone turn the war in the direction of the Empire, makes my character feel more like a Hero and not just another dumb running about and killing some animals who have eaten the farmers fruits.. So you need to look at the game in another perspective, else this is not the game for you... Edited January 8, 2012 by nitan
genpion
Thank you for your answers. As I have written, I enjoy the story a lot for every one of my chars. It is just that the fun stuff (class quests, flashpoints) is watered down a lot by running and grind. Based on your answers, there seems to be no remedy and most of the playtime is about running and grind. Edited January 8, 2012 by genpion
Chiricahua
You should've gotten a jedi shadow, sith assassin, an imperial operative, or a scroundrel for cloaking purposes. You can bypass all those mobs with stealth. Soundls like your level is too low for your questing areas too. Maybe try pvp for a while to level up, if you can stand being steam rolled by level 50's.
