Chiricahua
The really good stuff in WoW, and especially in SWG was great. Crafting was so good in SWG, my first character was a trader. Most of the really good pvp players were top notch crafters who could make a capped weapon, or capped armor. So is this thrown together hodge podge that is called companion crafting going to ever succeed. Please throw me a tid bit of hope. PVP has already marooned me high and dry. Xesorla
Did I think crafting would compete with vendors? Yes, it's stupid that for the most part we don't.
sangreal
Did I think crafting would compete with vendors? Yes, it's stupid that for the most part we don't. Indeed. I think the OP is phrased poorly. I think he means: "Did anyone ever think we would need to compete with vendors?" as opposed to "Did anyone ever think crafting would be competitive against vendors?" ZingFreelancer
Coming from eve online I considered crafted items to be easier accessible to majority of people and on par with NOT-SO-EASILY-ACCESSIBLE raiding and super-hardcore-boss drops.
