Hit P in game and hover your mouse over your skills in both the Sith Inquisitor tab and your advance class's tab. That will answer all your questions about which skills you can use. You asked if we had a single target or aoe dot, and he answers. But you're confused why he answered with a dot you apparently knew we had? Ugh... Ok, the 31 point talent, Creeping Terror, in the Madness tree is a Single target Insta Cast Dot. We also have a talent that will make the other single target dot (Crushing Darkness) we have instant cast. Therefore, after Force Lightning, you can then spam your 3 single target dots (insta cast).
