Kazim Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Eliminator = DPSCombat Tech = TankCombat Medic = Healer Both PvP and PvE sets use this nomenclature. While you, as a DPS, may think that a particular Combat Tech piece is better for you than the corresponding Eliminator piece, keep in mind you'll be missing the set bonus. The_Duck Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 you can but man it would cost an arm and a leg and you would be missing the pvp enhancement from them. removing epic mods costs a LOT. they really need an appearance tab. realistically you cannot mod the gear you enjoy wearing and be equivalent at 50 to someone who is getting the epic gear. you are WAY gimping yourself and at an extreme disadvantage in PvP play.The PvP level 50 gear is that much better than normal slotted gear. The damage output is not even close. I was maxing maybe 200k total damage (if that) before the PvP gear. I then added 2-3 pieces of PvP gear (looks terrible) and my output went up by 50k+ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
