    Ganking

And I'll be in your base spanking your n00bs

    Ganking

I gank n00bs on Hoth regularly. Why? Becasue it's fun, and because once, it was done to me, within my own base on Hoth. A 50 stealther popped out and killed me in 2 seconds, and it rubbed me the wrong way. I was levelling up at about 40. Having never played a steatlh toon, I specifically went and levelled a Concealment Operative, got to 50, now I regularly camp the Republic Hoth base, killing nubs in 2 seconds, then stealthing. I'll pop out and kill 2-3 at a time just for fun, then run around and get them when they spawn back, or get them at their taxi. I'll do this for hours on end. Sometimes it takes an hour, after I've killed 30 of them, often the same guy 8-10 times, before he gets 50's as backup. They will come in a horde, try and outsmart me, at which point I stealth and queue a Warzone. In the meantime, happily wasting the time of everyone that came. Warzone is done, I kill some more, and queue again. They give up and think I'll not be back, so I kill them again and wait. Rinse and repeat. It's more fun than staring at the vendor on the fleet for a week while I queue warzones and wait to have enough comms to buy a new Elite WH piece. I'll kill nubs while I wait out the queu. It sure beats any form of PvE, And damn it makes me feel good. I'll pay $15 a month for just warzones and nub ganking If you don't like it, go to a PvE server.
  6. Yeah that's the lame thing I see. I JUST finished grinding full WH on my Marauder, that is playing no ranked matches, so I'm trading in @ 3:1 ratio for commendations. Then I grinded up a 50 Operative and now i have half a set of WH with some BM peices. Now, I can either cap my commendations and not buy anything for the next many weeks, then upgrade as much as I can, or I can keep buying at 3:1 ratio, only to have JUST spent many weeks wasting commendations only to have all my gear put up for sale at cheap Battlemaster prices, and just have to grind an entirely new set of armour again, at 3:1 ratio. I was almost done the gear grind on both of my toons. Now I have to start over. Now a fresh 50 can come in and in probably one day (if he is capped) have an entire set of WH gear that matches mine. Yes, TL; DR = QQ
  7. Wow he's cool. Wish I was cool.
  8. Awesome! So I just spent a bunch of coin with augmentation kit, transferring all my mods from War Hero weapon, just to be visible in stealth, lol.
  9. Probably a stupid question, but going to ask anyway. In PvP can the enemy see the laser sight of my new Rangehunter E-11 carbine when I am stealthed? I assume they were smart enough to make it not visible but I wanted to check anyways.
  10. Whole lot of retarded ideas in here. My $15, my time, I do what I want.
  11. I play an Annihilation Marauder. Not really a huge Huttball class, but I can jump and I have Predation for the team. But I can't run with the ball and I die fast. I just find Voidstar is very very hard with Commando's and healers clogging the republic side. It's like 20% win chance for Imps I find. I don't mind losing, but we lose too much, and it's always the same kind of classes all piled into one ball blocking bombs on the doors and healing eachother. And nobody on my team attacks the healers, so it's lame. It's far too often a complete blow out. And Alderaan is the same all the time (1 snow everyone mid, whomever wins mid protects it until it gets past the point the other team can't win). Sure I win often enough, but its not fun. Huttball is fun. And I play pug, don't even have a guild. So I get crappy teams all the time, but I still have fun. I think I like it mostly because I hate the other ones. Huttball could be more awesome with new maps, new traps and such.
  12. I am paying to have fun, and Voidstar is anything but fun. I leave Voidstar every single time if my team sucks and we get a bomb planted on us right away. It's just no use wasting my time through that crap, then having to stand there and be beat up on a crappy team the whole second round and not get a single door. So, until there is the ability to queue for specific warzones, tracking or punishing people for leaving warzones is a retarded idea. I leave Alderaan a lot too, I hate it, but not as much as Voidstar. If there is ZERO way of making a come back, why should I stay? Really, I only want Huttball, and until I can only queue for Huttball, you had better not punish me for leaving a warzone. If I get locked out for even 15 minutes I'll probably cancel my subscription. No that's not whining, it's just the principle of the matter. I pay to have fun, and if I can't have fun I don't pay. Really that simple.
  13. I've noticed the squishyness less lately, maybe it was just that one day. I mean if I get focused by 2 snipers I still die in 2 seconds, but who doesnt lol. I can still kill people pretty quick, certain classes anyways. There was one guy last night, but I don't know what class/specialty he was, he just walked all over me through 2 different warzones. He would be on me, and I'd drop to half health in literally 2 seconds, I'd hit the holy **** button popping my 2 defenses, then 1 second later I'm at 10% health, hit undying rage, then I can do nothing to him until he ultimately kills me 6 seconds later. So yeah, he went after me at least 8-10 times, each time I had no chance whatsoever, and I could only last about 10 seconds even with undying rage. I'd even cloak and run and he would just snare me and kill me anyways. If my memory serves me, he was a Jedi Guardian. He was spinning around me so fast, and he was using zero abilities that I could interupt. Just smash smash, dead. I was kinda pissed but didnt want to call hacker right away. I know how to play my class, and I know my survivability pretty well. I don't expect to win against everyone, or every class in the least, but he was just ridiculously good, or his class is just designed to smash Marauders. I'll keep an eye out for him again and see what he is playing.
  14. i5-2500k, 16 GB RAM, GTX 560 Ti, Intel 320 series SSD, the fleet runs like crap. And I'm only running 1680x1050, everything maxed out (except AA is on low). I can play planets, warzones, etc, all baby smooth. Fleet is utter crap.
  15. Yup, good idea. And not only for lower level players. I don't necessarily enjoy standing in the same spot on the fleet all day popping warzones and waiting to pop another one, and another one....then turn it in. I mean really, it might help (although maybe not much?) to increase world PvP if people could go elsewhere, but they don't, they all have to finish their daily/weekly, which requires you to be on the fleet to both start them, and turn them in. Which you have to do daily, so it makes it very inconvenient for people that can only play 2-3 hours in a day. I end up just logging in, staring at the wall on the fleet, popping warzone queues, turning in the quest and logging out. If there was a terminal for quests, and access to the marketplace on every planet, it would help spread people around, maybe get some PvP going on Tat or Hoth or some crap, we all know Illum failed, and really I don't go back there because it's inconvenient. There needs to be reasons to visit other planets. The fleet can be the go-to place for Flashpoints and Operations, let the PvP people spread their wings and fly away! I want to PvP from my ship damnit!
