If I am in line at a movie theatre. And you are behind me. Doesnt it make logical sense that I would get to pick a better seat than you? Or should we all stand at the back of the theatre until the entire audience is let in and waiting at the back then scramble for a seat?

You do realize that it isnt amazons responsibilty to tell you about a game they didnt produce or pay for.. They are simply selling it. You should have done your homework and went to Biowares website. Where all of the information was on display since day one of pre order.

I find it hillarious that people are complaining about not getting in on day 1 early access. They are complaining that it isnt fair, that people arent on the same playing field, its not fair.. Yet they want in early access. Thus gaining an advantage over all the other people logging in on the 20th ... Hypocritical, yes.

 

You all are just mad that someone got in before you, accept that and move on. Life isnt fair, no one recieves the same hand as everyone else.. the mature people however play the hand they are delt and make the best of every situation.

[Things we learned from EGA]

I thought I'd just sum up the things we can actually take away from the EGA(i.e. not that it was all a coporate conspiracy, Bioware hate kittens, etc)

 

1) A lot of people (me included) desperately want to play this game. If we didn't trust Bioware to make this an awesome game that wouldn't be the case.

 

2) Bioware learned a few too many lessons from Warhammer Online. Mythic opened loads and loads of servers on launch day, and despite Warhammer being quite a fun game, it ended up looking like a bit of a failure because of the huge drop in server numbers.

 

3) People are tantrum throwing babies when they don't get their toys when they want them.

 

personally I dont see any problem with bioware keeping the server numbers as low as possible to save money.

Thought as much.. Dude stop worrying so much about other people and enjoy the game for yourself.

 

Someone elses progress should not affect your game that much. even in PVP. People get killed in PVP its a way of life. Shrug. To get made cause some guy kills you is stupid.. If that makes you truely upset stop PVPing.

I pre-ordered and recommended to some friends that they do the same.

 

They are playing today, I am not.

 

This is foolishness.

 

I am gonna spend a few minutes of my time to retract my pre-order and MAY decide to buy the game, when, if I pay, I get to play.

 

Perhaps I will forget you tomorrow and wait until you are free to play.

so already people are exploiting the pvp exp bug :S great so once i log in i will see some lvl 50

 

Exploits will happen. SR said already they are looking into the matter. shrug. It is what it is. If their exploiting of the game really ruins your fun, maybe you need to re-prioritize why you are playing SWTOR in the first place?

With all the rage caused by staggered EGA, I am hoping, praying that Bioware will drop this crap about phasing in pre-order customers.

 

They should hopefully by now realize it is the worst idea in MMORPG history no one cares about lag we do however care that because we were unable to preorder before others, we are less important in Bioware's eyes.

 

We are all paying customers who want to play an MMO competitively, it's not fair to allow such huge headstarts because they are favoring people who were able to purchase the game earlier.

 

This will kill the economy and any hope elitists have at server firsts.

 

Please keep this thread alive and ask/beg Bioware to just let us all in already.

 

 

Let me guess. You pre ordered in Oct 2011. And you are upset you have to wait in line like people who pre ordered in Aug?.... Perfectly understandable mate. But it wont happen, sorry.

I've noticed one common denominator among the whiners, most of them have a forum join date of november 2011. They probably spent years hating on SW:TOR, then got in on the open beta and preordered, and are now crying how its unfair! The irony.

 

PS: I'm not in myself either, and it doesn't bother me at all.
