  2. A larger instanced warzone minimum 24vs24 type of combat senario with different objectives the group within the raid can work for that over the battle will produce a victory condition. It could be all of these in one large warzone at once. Duration someting around but not longer then 30 min. - attack and disable the forcefield of the defenders ship/station (basically what "civil war" is) take and hold node, the defenders can take it back and reestablish its forcefield. Holding it for a sertain time without enemy interruption could disable it for the rest of the warzone. - Use (and defend) you ships cannons against the other ship/station. (basically what "civil war" is). Shooting without interruption of the other side could increase damage on the other ship/station, thus makeing the other force deside if they should skip what they are doing and divert more forces on the enemy guns. - attempt to take over the ship/stations bridge fore a direct win (should be difficult for attackers of sort). (More like plant the bomb senario with perhaps disadvantage of spawning compared to the defender) - infiltration, disable the ship/stations defence and offence for a short time by accessing a datacore and plant a virus. (Plant a bomb senario) with stealth perhaps? - a clear way of the raidleader (highest valor) to have an affect on the battle that is more then what is currently so. It could be perhaps that he can make one choise of one task that all those that attempt it gets a bonus in achiving that task. Like longer or shorter captimes on the energyshield, shorter spawning in one area of the station, more hard hitting guns, etc. Something you do as leader before the game starts but not during the game. Asigning something would have the mirrored affect for the other side (without them knowing of the bonus before game starts). - basically i would like a more complex PvP then what the game offers at the moment. If it is intanced and the mechanics would give more for a team to spread out rather then zerging I think the hero engine could handle 24vs24 or someting of that size. I dont have to be Ilum 1.1 with 60 players in a small area. Make it so that doing this would mean defeat.
  3. The baloon bug allways happens realy close to the destination (the crawler). But if you take the baloon two times in a row without zoning out of the tattoineinstance the baloon will never de-spawn the second time you ride it. This is the only known fix that will for sertain take you to the datacron that I know of and it works for everyone that I have talked too. Since it is a long ride, the first time most people feels so angry that the dont try it twice in a row. Most people give up on this datacron. A 2 min ride or someting would be enough, and a bug wouldnt feel so aggrivating if the ride was shorter.
  4. Few thread contains so much needed content as this one. I'm sure bioware have read this one and understood its content. Either there is a monetary shortage or a technical reason for not adding these features to swtor. I'm sure they understand that subs as well as free 2 play players would increase significantly if things like this would be added. The majority of the players I have encountered (I play on a pvp server) in my guild (350 players over the first year after launch) that have stopped playing did so over lack of meaningfull/creative/ and continually new PvP content and/or lack of dev-focus on the PvP aspect of swtor.

  7. Anything that is more then 8 vs 8 would be an improvement on the current state wich is not fun enough to play the game. To be frank for an MMO to call itself StarWars without large scale fights is nothing short of failure. This should have been top priority a long time ago ... I could link youtube clips here to how star wars is but that would only get my reply deleted. Again.
  8. If the big surprise that BW cant talk about would be a massive world pvp content then I would come back and play, short of that -> then that this game is is still in cryostasis. Not shrinking but not increasing either. I could surely go on like that for several years before some other project takes priority.
  9. War between republic and Imperial faction or guilds. Not "Star Peace" -> Star Wars. 1. First give an overview of the strategical and political map (galaxymap is very arty and can suffice). Or on plannets like Need I say more of how cool that would be and how meny millions of subcribers that would accumulate. Forget HK-51 and all that. 3. Then proceeding to boarding and other tactical PvP You have that ingame, some is good some isnt. But they should be integrated into the strategical meta-level. You missed this Bioware and thought that Star Wars fans whanted to play Star Wars "The Old Republic" without it. But did we get that? ---- No. Gazing through the HoloNet History that made the Hype before the launch lots of the cool stuff that made the hype was about large scale conflics, did we get that? --- No True we got some mystic secret story which we all enjoyed, but inbetween we had a lot of boring grind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No I hear that Bioware thinks that the way forward is more story and legacy...good luck with that.

  11. Start building code for this if you havnt allrrady BW. The modells are allrrady there or allmost. It would bring back a large amount of players now doing other MMOes. If you whant to increase in a short time this content is the way to go. Start small an launch. Then build on in patch after patch. This content has the quality that it has a high replay value.

  13. If it is so bad that guildnames are given at random with out any premeditation from Bioware, then my confidence is down the drain from now on. I hope for BW and the future that it aint so. Why isnt the so famed "metrics" working. It can't be that difficult to rule out what guild is active and what isnt.

We have also previously been represented in many other games and will be in the future. Ragnarok SWTOR was established in early access 2011. First on PvP Bloodworthy, then transfered to PvP Tomb of Freedon Nadd, and now on Tomb of Freedon Nadd Highpopulation server. Our common ground is the passion for games, our community and forum. We salute maturity, good manners and fellowship above all things. Ragnarok is a community we are all proud to represent. Who can join Ragnarok?   18. When I try and rename our guild from guild@destinationserverto just Guild it says "name is not available". In message of the day it says only Guild. So maybe our guild is accually blocking ourself from renameing guild@destionationserver to to just guild And also: I havent seen any @originserver only @destinationserver which leads me to belive that is must be a bug of sorts. ?
  19. I don't think Bioware understands what is smart for their own good and the game judgeing from what happens from time to time. This is a bad management decicion that well established guilds on the destination servers looses their name in this process. Just becouse a coder couldnt understand that "Guild@origin server" should get the "@ tag" BUT the "Guild@destionation server (witht the new highpop server name)" should retain their name without the "@ tag". This 18th patch became a patch that made stealing of guildnames possible. I'm sure this will spread among communities that streach out between MMO:es.

  21. Have 1hr ban from warzones if you leave a warzone after it have begun. Someone who leaves shouldnt have joined in the first place. If one cant take the heat, stay out. And to the one who have full wh gear and says that you dont whant to play with nitwits etc. Why do you join a random wz in the first place. It is like buying a lottery ticket and complaining after you have opened it and found out it wasnt that win and then whant a refund. Random wz is lottery, deal with it or dont play. But of course it would be interresting if the randomizer was accually a well programed software and sorting the teams intelligently after: Wins/losses on a player basis Advanced class That would be enough to make any random game interresting. After all its ok to play with teammates who dont know the-how-to if the opposing team has an equal share.
  22. I know lots of merc players that quited the game rather then rerolled. Period.
  23. Dusted off my merc warhero after playing operative dps. Oh my god. There should be an attack not in the skill tree but bought from bh trainer that make up for the disadvantage of powershot not being an instant cast attack. Then merc pyro would be somewhat on the way of being a viable way to pvp with the merc. Untill that its better to pvp with arsenal. Or better yet, go play anorher class.
  24. Make attacks instant and/or channeld so that one can run around and use moblity + attacks or stop and do damage from the first second. Its what separates mercenary/commandos from the other classes. Instant attacks and mobility will prevail over a class that can be CCed and have casting and need to stand still.
