  1. Ugh, yeah. I had a guild mate who did that. Donated everything to the guild bank, deleted his toons and unsubbed.
  2. So, I guess this shows that the feedback thread in regards to the conquest changes they posted was utterly pointless. No one listened at all. If I had known that those behind the scenes cared so little about the only aspect of the game that was keeping me here, I would have cancelled my sub before it renewed last week. I mean, cool, you added a few more objectives. You upped the points rewarded slightly. How nice. Yet you only want us playing one character in conquest. Yeah, no, that doesn't work for me. I liked playing all of my toons, tyvm. If a majority of the objectives listed on the conquest tab are restricted to once per day per legacy then I'll just take my money to a game that wants and encourages it's player base to play and have fun. Grinding crap once per day on one toon isn't fun imo.
  3. It being a bug kinda sucks. I had all these thoughts in my head when my vanguard got it. Like, what was that naughty Theron up to while gone. Oh well.
  4. I agree, completely. Especially with the last part.
  5. I personally think Large and Medium yields should give better rewards period. Not just the garbage they already get doubled or tripled. Maybe add different materials such as Charged Matter Transubstantiators or something, along with what they already get. Better deco's than the crafting ones even. Just make the effort of meeting those guild goals worth it.
  6. You should try getting a group together and killing the named commanders that are up. We were doing that for a bit and it helped some. I won't even do crafting for conquest anymore. It's just not worth it at all.
  7. Now that I've accepted that conquest has changed, and probably won't be reverted to the old system (at least not any time soon), I'm actually enjoying the game a lot more than I have in a long time. My small guild is growing and has won two planets so far, and is currently in first for this week. People who left at first (from my guilds) are returning and giving the new system another try. It still has its many flaws, of course, but rather than just grinding CQ we've been doing a lot of other things in the game and it is fun. I still think it is beyond ridiculous that we're restricted to one heroic (and in this weeks case one rakghoul event daily) per day. There is a event daily quest and a heroic daily quest in the activities finder, and it would make much more sense for those to be the dailies instead. The insane costs to crafting would also be a good area to change. The cost of crafting war supplies is not worth the CQ points you get in return, same with the Dark Projects. Also, if we could have the Slayer objective on a weekly basis, that would be awesome. My guildies and I have been having a blast getting our imp and pub toons to meet up and kill each other.
  8. They said the same thing about 8v8 RWZs, that only a small amount of people did them. Yet shortly after they removed those all the PVP servers died. So I'm not buying their numbers.
  9. I should have said with how the conquest system is currently set up, I like the changes with ops. Unless they do something to either discourage or prevent medium to large sized guilds from invading the small yield planets, this is pretty much the only way small guilds can get themselves on the board. At least from what I can tell so far. While it might not matter anymore to be on the top ten since you just have to make the guild goal, for guilds who never were able to get up there it means a lot to them. Since they changed how conquest works, there have been 3+ medium to large guilds invading at the small yield on my server. I'm in both a large guild and a very small guild. The large guild I am in did lockouts daily. However, in the small guild we couldn't as we get little playtime during the week. Both guilds are invading the small yield (I asked the GM of the large guild why they are invading the small and was told 'because lol'). With lockouts not giving lots of points, my small guild is able to remain in the top five and is so far only about 100-200k behind the large guilds in the top 3 this week. With the old setup the small guild would be no where near the top ten, and I imagine that even with the large, medium and small yields that so long the larger guilds are invading the smaller planet that we'd be millions behind, rather than a couple hundred thousand. From what I have seen so far a lot of the guilds who mainly used lockouts to get into the top ten, have dropped down on the list. It's made it possible for guilds I've never seen on the boards to get up there. I have no idea if that is merely a coincidence, or if smaller guilds are doing somewhat better at figuring out this new system, but that is what I have noticed. I'd honestly prefer that they try and find a solution that keeps certain sized guilds on the yields more suited for them, but until then I believe their current set-up for operations is okay. But only if they continue listing two or more operations that give 7500 points. Although it would be nice if they listed most, if not all, of the ops since they made that legacy based. If they remove that then that's a different story. I hope that made some sort of sense. If not, then I apologize. My youngest is chatting away at me in English, Spanish and baby babble and it is very confusing.
  10. The changes in regards to operations are probably one of the few things I do like. Although, I do not agree that it is an exploit, or as my old guild called it, cheating. I had no issue with guilds who used it. However, I think it being nerfed in conquest is very helpful for smaller guilds and I believe that was the intention of these changes, to give smaller guilds a chance. One heroic mission per day is just stupid. While I understand that they are trying to make it more difficult one heroic, along with that 500k for 825 points, seems like an attempt to troll their customers. If you're going to insist on keeping conquest heroics once a day, then why not at least let us have the quest that requires all the heroics on that planet to be completed (that you receive via Activities) count, rather than just one single heroic? You're still limiting us, but not being ridiculous about it in the process. Crafting, I'll say it again, the changes are stupid. Sorry not sorry. If we have a crafting week it will be a week I won't participate in. Not unless a lot more resource nodes on lower level planets are added, and the cost of the white materials are decreased. The cost in crafting with the low amount of points received for both crafting and consuming invasion forces is just not worth it. Also, it would be nice if the conquest tab explained how conquest now works. Is it no triangles are legacy based, blue triangles once a day, and gold are repeatable? Are blue triangles once a day per toon or per faction? The system is so bloody bugged that I don't know.
  11. If I thought it would make Bioware listen, I would sit here and encourage more guilds to halt participation in conquest. Sadly, they won't. They'll ask for our feedback and suggestions, make minor changes that some will be happy about, but for the most part will ignore us. Most of those who I play this game with have already begun to migrate to another game. While conquest did need some changes, it did not need a complete overhaul and to be turned into a painful grind that causes players to dread logging into the game. Conquest has become frustrating and not enjoyable. Objectives such as a weekly should not be once per legacy. That's just ridiculous. The weekly itself isn't based on legacy, so why is the conquest objective? If a person has the time and will to do the weekly on multiple characters, then both they and their guild deserve the points for their hard work. Crafting weeks were occurring far to often before, and with the changes for war supplies I hope we never see them again. It's just silly. If a guild and it's members are willing to put forth the amount of effort and funds towards making 100,000,000 plus points in order to win a planet, then they deserve that win. With the crafting changes who is going to want to bother? It was expensive before. Now it will be a nightmare. Are you going to lower the cost of white materials and create more resource nodes on lower level planets to help ease that pain? Then there are the guild "rewards". They are horrible. There is absolutely nothing to discourage larger guilds from invading smaller yield planets and nothing to encourage them to grind points in a larger yield. As seen already. Several smaller guilds could have easily made it into the top ten this past week if half the guilds invading the small yield weren't large guilds. There's nothing wrong with admitting that you made a mistake, and then take the steps necessary to fix it. Really, there isn't.
  12. Same here. My Sorc was faithful to Andronikos, and never once flirted with another character. I did the 'Theron dead or alive' option, though, rather than come back. Yet I'm stuck with this mission with no one to speak to.
