Honestly, I could care less if they close the GTN or leave it completely as is. It has no impact on playing the game as it is designed. I do not have to buy anything from there to play all of the story content, etc. I want them to leave the core game alone so I can play with the QoL features they themselves built into the game. If/when they change the travel cost, you remember you said that. I doubt you will, but hope you do. The fact we are discussing this at all should give us both pause as to the intelligence of continuing to support this game. If they are so uncaring, or blind, to this move, why play?

Every new or early alt character is unable to play with the travel feature that YOU put into the game, and I paid to reduce the timer on, because I thought it was worth it. You sold it to me, for money. You have created a barrier to that now? I can not think of anything more unfair. I am a subscriber and it ends this month. It will never start again with this in place. You are killing the joy in the game for new players and veterans alike by making such tone deaf moves. Reverse it. Do not "fix" it, put it back. Leave the core game alone. Somehow, you really do not understand it.

Not sure I agree that "they are not going to remove them." That IS the point of what many are saying. This is a mistake, no matter the next steps. Let's just disagree that this is "done". Once they see that this is a real impact on player count, IE subs and $, they will change it. If not, this game will suffer further, as there is no next step that will make this acceptable. Maybe, but the concern is that new and returning players, that do not have billions, are impacted now, in a real, game breaking way. Believe it or don't, but it certainly applies to me. There is no other issue or excuse anyone can use to explain away what is actually happening. In game. Now. To a game we love.

Honestly, it is the principle. Plain and simple. Why would I give them a single IRL nickle if this is the type of direction they are going? That this is a good idea? What is next? It will certainly ensure I will not sub or buy a single thing in the CM. Nope, I will not support this path. Ever.

As a returning player, thank God I signed up VIP for only a month. I will never, ever sub again with travel so crushing my alts and returning characters. I will simply play something else until this is REVERSED. Not "fixed". It only serves as a waste of time, forcing a bad choice. What an awful idea that fails completely in it's goals, AND serve to drive new and returning players away. Sheesh, you would think I am talking about NFT's.............. "These are not the results you are looking for. Move along."

Great info here, Ty. I found the re spec guy so I can go back and forth as I need to for FP, then change for leveling. That makes everything much less permanent, and I do not have to worry about messing up. I look forward to all the analysis coming this weekend about 2.0, and I thank you for answering and educating me already! Phen

Thank you so much! I like the variety of the builds, tells me there is some new flexibility we have. That is good. (and bad, in my case) Question: Are you saying I need to respec for FP's each time? Or make one Sage for FP and one for Leveling? Is non pointed healing enough at my level for FP's, so I should go Balence/Tele? In most builds the points are clear enough, but for idiots like me, we have no idea what to put where, when. Is it a matter of leveling up to 50 or so and respecing to full healer? I am not above working on a build and going it alone, I would rather not recreate the wheel. Especially with 2.0 just hitting. If you were building a leveling Sage with the idea to solo regular content and heal for FP's, with the 2.0 roll out is there a safe place to start out at placing points? Do I just sit on it and chill for a week and see how everything shakes out? Am I making a bigger deal out of respeccing than I should? Is there an easy way I am missing since I have been gone for so long? I am a subber if that helps. An answer of just relax, 2.0 builds are coming for your underachieving buttwipe is perfectly fine by me. I only humbly request that some direction is given with builds as to general placement of points as you level. Thanks so much.

I know Nibbon and other geniuses are working on builds with 2.0. I am returning from long time off and need to spec up to level 33 or so. Are there some "must haves" that I can safely spec right away so I can start playing. I am not into PvP, and need to be able to solo and do Flash Points as healer. I have all my points sitting and waiting, and I will wait, if need be, to be sure. I am only asking in case there is a set of "no brainer" points I can place and start while waiting. Yea, this is a selfish request. I just wanted to play asap and not bork my Sage. Tele or Balance makes no difference to me, I just want solid build for 2.0 early going. Exactly. I was going to say this exactly. Now that we are all playing, the BS about this game being so poor does not fly. The group trying to slam this game can go away after 30 days. You know what? They won't.

The complaint are because there is not a search for the site as a part of the forum. There are lots of worse ways to search, but why in the world there is not search here is beyond counter-productive.
