  1. Right? I get that we're a crazy state and that our Governor kind of looks like Voldemort if he had his nose back, but still. I'd really like to see some action here in Florida. I mean honestly Orlando would be perfect for such an event...
  2. I was referring to an internet sales tax, which Florida does not have... yet.
  3. I don't pay taxes on it here in the great State of Florida!
  4. Just. Stop. I, too, am a subscriber and a "founder" This entitles me to nothing more than a pat on the back and a title in game. I do not get a free ride on the whambulance to the Dev Hospital. Not that much is being "given away". It could be worse (better?). How absurd.
  5. It's silly, really. What is there to lose from F2P? Not much. It'd just coax some people into spending money on Cartel Coins or re-subbing. On a lighter note, 13 days after the election and the first time I heard "socialist'! Progress.
  6. Politicians handle people better, they have to actually fight for re-election. I can confront my politicians on policy issues, and they'll engage in a dialogue with me. I can confront bioware, and get no response, or a nice copy-pasted mass templated response.
  7. There wasn't a warning on Ebon Hawk.
  8. I am shocked at the discourtesy. There was absolutely 0 announcement made about the impending shutdown/restart in-game. At least, not on The Ebon Hawk (-> Hoth). I was finishing up doing a Heroic that took me 2 hours to get a group for because your "Group Finder" is a piece of crap for doing Heroics. The least that could have been done is an all-server statement saying there will be a restart in (x) amount of time. If you're in game, chances are, you're not going to get on the forums if you don't notice huge problems while you're playing. It's clear that you guys knew your restarts were happening, via the forum post that was made; so why the lack of announcement in-game? I usually refrain from posting on the forums, especially negative things, but this is just BS.
  9. I 'inspect' people all the time, even if they're not of my same class. Not to steal from them, but just because I'm curious of what armor they wear. If anything, when I inspect people who are my same class, it's to be like "oooooohhh, that armor is pretty!"
  10. He's kind of an ***. He also looks like the 9th Doctor.
  11. For some reason my brain accompanied this post with this picture: Personally, I don't feel strongly for or against it. I can see where some may want to change it, myself included as I re-he-he-eally don't want to reroll my guardian and would like to have a sentinel.
  12. Great, so NFL and Sims Social? Really? "Yay" - shoot me in the face
  13. Dana Perino, Tony Snow, and Jay Carney all give better responses than the TOR team. lol
  14. Damn, you beat me to a music joke. I was going to go in the direction of One Direction bashing.
  15. I believe you mean LFG? I can only think of one thing the 'D' could stand for, and I don't really think... ...
  16. @the Title: I doubt the Empire has Unions (of that sort).
  17. *shrug* It's not really that unprofessional, as you can tell in multiple instances its also his personal twitter. If you bothered to look at what he was replying to, you can tell he's being sarcastic. He wasn't actually demeaning the person. I mean, it's no Joe Biden "B.F.D.", Dick Cheney "F*** you!", Rick Santorum "That is Bulls***" moment(s), etc. Why put him on a pedestal? I tend to like it when those who are in positions make comments that make themselves more human. Complain about real issues, not conjured ones. It is a distraction.
  18. Lmao, I always wished my male Jedi Knight could hit on Doc especially since some of their conversations to begin with are pretty Sherlock/Watson gay tension-y.
  19. I am unimpressed by the lack of professionalism shown by this (ex?) employee. More-or-less the employee just seems to be angry ranting about something, but this is far from any sort of bomb shell whistleblowing. It's just stupid.
  20. 20% thought. Usually I'll just random name it until I find something I like, then switch the vowels around. My main character is my Jedi Guardian whom I named after the Governor of Florida because his name is Crist, and I mean... that's an interesting name. Although I've gotten whispers a few times being yelled at because people think apparently I'm mocking Jesus. Fun stuff.
