  1. That's good to hear. The only thing that is bugging me is adding more abilites to knights. I already feel like I have too many abilities.
  2. I run as Vigilance spec with Sorusu form. I can't kill healers in a 1v1. They simply heal in between my interrupts and I don't do enough damage to out damage their heals. I'm in full champion gear except the earpiece and a Centurion belt.
  3. I have only PvP'd on my Guardian as a DPS spec so I can't comment on PvE DPS. In PvP I do quite well. As a Guardian though, I try to concentrate on helping my allies as well as doing damage. I run around in Sorusu (sp?) form while Vigilance spec'd. I taunt, guard and leap to aid my allies as much as I can and when I'm not doing that I am DPSing down the enemy. I prefer the Guardian playstyle in PvP over a pure DPS class though. In 1v1's I have a lot of difficulty versus healers and often lose horribly but versus other non-healers I do well. I do much better in teamplay. Just my two cents.
  4. Just started using the OPs spec on my Guardian today. Definitely lost the large burst of Force Sweep and I find I don't get the 2.5k damage medal as often now. The free Force Sweep and AOE slow are awesome though. I do miss Zealot Leap as it was pretty useful when Force Leap was on cool down or they were just inside the minimum range of it. Total damage seems to be about the same as Focus, possibly a little less. As far as Focus goes it feels about the same as the Focus spec. I occasionally find myself in need of Focus but not often. I rarely have a huge surplus but I find that I usually have enough. Anyhoo, just my thoughts so far from a few hours of pvping.
  5. With the champion lightsaber and bracer, the rest of my gear being blue/orange, I can hit around 3.9k with Force Sweep. Outside of Force Sweep my highest crits are around 2k. Best damage I've gotten so far IIRC is around 220-240k with good heals. Survivability seems to be an issue for me as well. I've died to Operatives in a 1v1 fight while not being able to move. The lag and ability delay kill me in PvP as well. I Force Leap at someone yet I'm still 10-15 meters away from them. That combined with every instant cast ability having an animation glitch where it takes 2 seconds the cast. I too have trouble with Focus in PvP. I leveled as Vigilance and never had trouble with Focus generation but while PvPing as Focus specced I'm always out of it it seems.
  6. The Jedi Sentinal has a 'vanish' like ability where they can stealth for 3-4 seconds. The Guardian does not. I'm unsure about the Trooper class but I don't think they have anything like that.
  7. I died 10-12 times on the trash on the way to the puzzle. Figured out the puzzle to get the gear but it bugged and I didn't get the gear. Died a few more times then got to the last boss. Died twice to him while only getting him to around 70-80% health. Then the third time I fought him it bugged and I killed him in one shot. Not the most heroic way to kill him but after dieing so many times on the trash I'm just glad it's over with. I learned that I'm pretty useless without Doc. Supposedly they are fixing all of the issues I had soon.
  8. I changed the movement keys from WASD to ESDF so I can keybind more letter keys keys on the left side of the movement keys. It makes reaching the number keys easier as well. I also move the chat reply key from R to Y so I can use R for an ability. I don't keybind strafe because I hold down the right mouse button and use the turn keys to strafe and that frees up two keys to keybind. I have two abilities bound to the side of my Razer Lachesis as well. I own a G15 keyboard but don't use the G keys yet. My friend uses Shift+# for the bottom hotbar but I don't like using Shift+#. Anyway, I still don't have enough keys to keybind all of my abilites on my Guardian. I might invest in the Naga as my Lachesis is having issues.
  9. I have always been 2-3 levels higher than the quests I am doing because I complete every non-heroic quest for each planet, including the bonus ones. I find that it makes the bosses easier and I haven't had much trouble with them. So far, I have found the actual bosses to be easier than some regular elite mobs. Doc helps a lot, for sure. Once I got him PvE became much easier. I was able to chain pull strong/regular mobs without having to heal in between whereas before Doc I had to heal after most fights. Even some elites I came out with almost full health. At level 42 though, I am beginning to have difficulty and have to heal more often than I did right after I got Doc, around level 37. Did you have this experience as well? It's been hit or miss in PvP. Sometimes I do really well and surprise myself and other times I die quickly with the enemy still at half HP. For instance against a level 40 Sorcerer I fought last night on Hoth killed me while he was still at half health. The heals are difficult to damage through but I probably interrupted the damaging spells instead of the healing ones. I do notice a lack in burst damage. I've been Vigilance since the beginning and haven't tried Focus dps.
