  1. This topic have been raised over and over again without any response from BW... seems like they don't care about fairness in wz. The correct way to do this, would be to do it as Warhammer did. When you get the pop and accepts it checks if enough have accepted. If not, it puts everyone back in the queue and tries again when it have 8 players from each side queuing. Same thing happens if not all accept. Wasn't a problem in Warhammer and shouldn't be a problem here... I for once have had enough of broken game design. I'm putting my bucks somewhere else...

    What a piece of bull****... got nothing to do with 8-man queues. The problem would still be there. I bet you that not a lot of people are doing what you are saying... yes there might be cases where this happens, but it is rarely compared to just solo players signing up.

    It is going to happen because of bad game design. Other games have solved this. There are several solutions: The wz doesn't start before enough have accepted. Enough = same number on both sides. If there isn't enough people you are placed back in front of the queue Reduce the time you have to accept. 15-20 sec should be enough. This will not solve the uneven teams though but will give more time to have the teams even out Reset the initial-timer in the wz if the teams aren't even. I know there might be cases where you have to wait too long, but then shut down the wz again and place people in front of the queue again.
  4. You saved your BM tokens in hope of getting something better while you could just have bought your BM gear. You were greedy and basically wanted to take advantage of potential changes... u deserve nothing! Have fun farming wz commendations for your BM gear and may this be a lesson for you...
  5. Saying huttball is entirely depended on yOur team is SO wrong. Huttball is actually the only wz where you alone (or with a friend) can change the tides of battle. Alderaan and voidstar is 100% depended on your team knowing how to attack or defend... you cannot defend 2 doors at once or attack 2 nodes alone - it is simply impossible. You need to rely on your team to do their part. Huttball however 1-2 players can score and win the match with the rest of your team being cannonfodder... done it SO many times. I play a vanguard/powertech and with a healer we win matches on the row. More wz like huttball please!!!
  6. the key word here is "eventually". As i wrote in my earlier post this is HUUUGE problem NOW on my server. I think we all agree that population is steedily dropping and probably will in the future if the don't start addressing the real issues such as this. We need a solution now...
  7. They fixed this in Warhammer... when the pop comes it checks if enough accepts, if not it requeues you, instead of just porting you in to find out that only 6 persons joined. This is a HUUUUGE problem on our server. 80% of the time reps start ad underdogs.
  8. /signed... 1000x times Why is a 5vs5 not applicable while a 6vs8 is all good!?!?!? The 6vs8 is SO UNBELIVEABLE unfair where a 5vs5 is just fun... But again why do we bother writting on these forums when Bioware got no clue about how to make pvp fun and interresting.
  9. Don't have any problems with them... interrupt and they are just sitting ducks. If you ignore them of course they are gonna own you... all dps classes are.
  10. To me it seems as if the games start when 6 people are signed. It's always 6vs8... rarely 5 or 4 vs 8. I'm guessing that BW deems 6vs8 as a reasonable setup and starts the game, hoping 2 more will queue quickly.
  11. Yes I know - but this is not the case... unfortunately. Another suggestion from a friend was to simple lower the time you have to join. If you want to do wz you need to be ready, so lower it to 20sec. Should give you the time to finish what you are doing.

  13. True... I agree the idea is not great, but rather that, than spending 15min in a wz being outnumbered or at least being that far behind that a recovery is impossible. Another suggestion is to just shut it down if the game is 6vs8 at the beginning, or at least within 30 sec. Waiting 2 min is too much. I'm fed up with loosing cause we are outnumbered... SOLVE IT BW!
  14. Well then reset the timer in the wz... just start at 1:30min again until both teams are even. How hard can it be...
  15. I know the topic has been raised before, but yet nothing has happened or even commented. Why is it that we (rebs on our server) must 90% of the time start outnumbered. How can BW think that 6vs8 is a fair fight on ANY of the wz-maps. - Voidstar... imps run directly through us. It means A LOT to be outnumbered here - Huttball... they will score the first time they get the ball... in most cases - Alderaan... you need to split your forces here to win, so being 2 less is pretty much a loss of 2 of the turrets If this isn't addressed before rated wz goes live, it will be SUCH an unfair advantage for the other side. I know there are cases where 6vs8 can be ok... if your team is superior. But that happens 1 out of 10 times. Rest is a sure loss. Introduce a re-timer if the teams ain't 100% fair, meaning the timer will just reset until the teams are full. Alternatively close it before 2 mins warning. A lot of times you get a full team after 2 min but then the game is pretty much over.
