  1. You get him during/after your lvl 23 class quest on Nar Shad.
  2. Well Tanks and healer pets are useless for Tank & Healer classes respectfully, no matter what as the player char is always going to be stronger. DPS classes (including non-tank specced assassins/shadows here) will find all 3 types useful at times. Tank pets are useful for the the stealth classes, due to their big damage skills being positional dependent (Backstab Maul etc). As for buffing tank pets maybe give them a +% defence increase with a healing penalty on there tank stance (IE they will live longer for non healers classes but survive about the same as now for healer classes). IE they take 10% less damage and get 10% less health from healing, it would buff there usefulness for non healers by 10% compared to now while still leaving healer classes with the same amount of power.
  3. You can turn it off in Preferences there a check box "Audio cues" on one of the tabs audio or gameplay I think, de-check it and bye bye giggles.
  4. Hmm, you sure it just isn't a problem between the skill cool-down and Global CD graphics? As those skills all have cool-downs that are longer than the GCD. So I guess what it is it starts reloading to fast then it jumps back to the proper skill CD level, the only way to check if this is the case is to find and use an instant skill with a 1.5 sec cool-down on it (as if its a graphic glitch between Skill & global cool-down timers it should be invisible on that skill).
  5. Hmm according to your data in first page Power is better than Will as it gives 0.03 more damage and healing per point than willpower. The only time Will is better is when you need extra the crit chance that Will gives. Unless you got your numbers muddled up.
  6. From the number thread up top: Will gives 0.20 Force Bonus Damage and 0.14 Force Bonus Healing per point and some +%crit (this is low though). Power & Force power both give 0.23 Force Bonus Damage and 0.17 Force Bonus Healing, so as long as your crit chance dont drop to much Power & Force powers are better than Willpower by 0.03 per point. In the above you be losing 2.2 force damage and 1.54 Force healing from will for 6.21 force damage and 4.59 force heal. So you gain 4.01 force damage and 3.05 force healing via changing the mod (dunno what the change in crit chance will be though). For a Sorc Power (both types)>Willpower at lest once Crit is soft-capped at 30%.

  9. No it comes down to do you want to be a stealthy melee saberstaff wielding DPS/Tank or a ranged healer/lighting slinging DPS? As others had said sorc should be easier to play due to his heals and 100% ranged damage attacks (you will never need to use melee attacks).
  10. Marauders/Sentinels need one of the following: A) large damage boost so we might kill something before we die. B) a defence boost so we can stay alive long enough to kill something, whither its via CC or better/longer defensive buffs. And lastly we need a CC immunity move like Snipers/Gunslingers entrench skill. Snipers/Gunslingers are the ranged version of us and they got better survivability with cover (ranged damage protection) +entrench (CC immunty) and an AOE knockback. And yes we need our gear fixing, just one question with gear why are the Might (high Str low end) hilts and mods 1 level/rank below every other mod item level on Coms vendors etc? IE Might is 17 and rest are 18, and this is the case on every damn vendor.
  11. Sounds like you gets the miss fire bug when you use it OP I never seen it happen with my FC but it has happened on other characters. I think it occurs when you suffer lag/desync problems, that the only thing I can think of that it might be.
  12. There was a bug and its with number 1 as total light & dark side points should add up to 10,000 total (at lest that what happens with my character, she Diplomacy so I can test it loads).
  13. With ok/good gear they can, expressly true if you heal them.
  14. Easily done at lest in theory by adding the following code "Gloves only" to the mods.
  15. I wouldn't bother with the lvl 40 set, its nothing special any drop or reward thats 41+ is highly likely to be better. Instead I turn the Coms into the lvl 50 PvP bags (I been buying a few for when I hit 50). Its 800 Warzone Coms per bag (3:1 conversion cost) or 200 warzone & 200 Merc. As for what best of those 2 stats they both are meh, unless you having to wait for skill X to come off cooldown often or your missing a lot I bet you wont even notice the difference.
  16. Fix 2 as this was lacking on power, damage now change to unique reaper type that kill anything hit by it and AOE increased so everything in LOS is stunned. TBH i really want a Droid race, guess it have to be it a whole new class though (something like HK-47).
  17. Gunslinger/Sniper, Commando/Merc and Sorc/Sage are the 3 ranged DPS classes. As for most damage highest crits etc it up in the air due to no damage logs. But logic says that Gunslinger/Sniper should have the highest DPS, due to the other 2 having heals etc.
  18. Nah he not the best Healing companion I run tests Quinn heals the same amount as Mako and everyone else at the same lvl and gear power.
  19. Quinn tool tip bugged he heals the same amount as any other healer as long as they have equivalent gear. The reason people think Quinn is better I think is because they are comparing him to healers you get earlier Mako etc who by that stage of the game will be behind Quinn in the gear stakes.
  20. Healers = land your big damage hit moves ASAP and hope this adds up to more damage than there heals can cope with, also if you see them going to cast a mega heal/disspell DISRUPT the blighter (we got a disrupt for a reason).
  21. Agent just keep your energy regen buff up and dont spam the mega heals (unless you want to be OOE). If done right your only need the energy probe in an Oh **** moments, where your group messed up (IE overpulled or woke up CC guys).
  22. But this nerf also nerfs the others powers as well. There's been no nerf for Ops, as it a global nerf, other classes been nerfed just as hard.
  23. We are good, the best long time steady healer in game. The only time we run into trouble is vs big damage bursts as this saps our energy (you ideally want to keep it in the 60+ zone), we do have a couple of skills that restore energy though. Commando/Merc is from what I heard the best burst healer. And Sorc/Sage is the healer with a bag of tricks (shields etc.)
  24. All 3 healers are good if you play them right. Ops are just not that good at countering burst damage, Merc & Commando are best at that but we got more tricks than them.
  25. You already RE it before, and got it in your crafting list, it dont always place the new version in the right spot though. In your crafting list there should be: Critical Focus of Devastating Power (Green) and Critical Focus of Devastating Power (Blue), if it was the blue you where REing there be a Critical Focus of Devastating Power (Purple). Of cause they likely have advanced or prototype or something in front of the name.
