  1. I'm trying to get better with the Sentinel and it's driving me crazy. I'm Valor 31 and it's a long painful road to Valor 60. I've tried the Watchman and had some success, but I switched to Focus for the 2nd leap attack. Also, the Watchman spec is...tiring. So much to focus on and do. My questions: How do you bind your powers? Is it a mouse binding or do you just have a perfect keybinding? I kinda hate using Alt- and Ctrl- when trying to fight. How are you criticalling so much? I noticed it more in another video of yours. It cannot just be Insight. What is your Critical and Surge values? Please and thanks.
  2. I hate the volume of stuns and snares. It is absurd. There is nothing more boring than getting beaten on while you can do absolutely nothing.
  3. Brutes in CoV weren't as bad, IMO, as Knights here. You weren't restricted in any 'rage building' powers. All powers built Rage. As your Rage built up, your damage increased across the board. I loved this system because what it allowed you to do was get into a fight and start off a little weak, then be a monster by the end of it. But then, to keep up your increased damage, you wanted to rush into another battle. It's exciting to have to judge whether you can take one more mob without properly healing. here the focus system is supposed to limit our 'power attacks'. My problem is that our 'power attacks' aren't very impressive, when compared to other classes.
  4. Wow, did the useless DBag quota go up overnight? If you go into Sentinel, there is a stickied primer that's useful. I don't see one in the Guardian but as was pointed out, you could look under the Sith Warrior area as they are the same class.
  5. Yeah, once I figured out that you could pretty much ignore the 'illusions' I just went to town on the Emperor. I lost once again, only because I didn't realize which power to interrupt. On the 4th time, I just pwned him. I was actually kinda surprised how...easy it was once I did it correctly. Oh and you can have T7 use an AOE. Between that and a Sweep attack, you can often clear out the illusions without having to target them.
  6. I played SWG. A) it was a terribad game B) They started you fighting, like Wamprats, when really, you wanted to go off fighting Stormtroopers. C) Placing a SW game in Old Republic gives a game designer the freedom to make the game good and the freedom to write their own stories. Having to deal with all the garbage that is in Movies 1-6 would be a pain and it raises too many questions. Do you really wanna meet up with Darth Vader? Would that really be cool or just disappointing? Can you attack and beat Darth Vader? How about Yoda? How can there be a zillion Jedi's when Luke was supposed to be the only one. And so forth.
  7. I disagree with the OP. Each class does not need all the tools. BH/Trooper can deal with their insane damage and AOEs and lack of interrupt.
  8. There are a tiny handful of decisons that make a different, but not a huge one. In particular, there are options to kill some characters. If you don't, they can send you messages later in the game. Or you can even meet up with them. Not huge, I know. But it's something. There are very complex problems with building a game with multiple paths. Regardless, i think they should have tried it.
  9. This is NOT a Jedi problem. All characters have a giantic butt. The robes just make it way more apparent.
  10. I'm a Sentinel and just to give you some perspective: The Sent does their best work only after they've built Focus/Centering. One fight can leave us with lots of both. So to maximize on that, it's best for us to rush and leap into the next battle. This does mean that we want to GO! GO! GO!. I've had to fight this trap myself a few times.
  11. I think Troopers/Bounty Hunters are the most soloable class.
  12. Unless I understand it incorrectly: Zen just guarnatee a Crit on your burn effects. If you've already Crit on a Burn effect (and you've speced the Watchman) you will heal on those burn effects. If you see healing numbers before you hit Zen, that just means you already got a Critical hit and Zen doesn't do anything more. I don't think Zen does anything to modify an already in place DoT.
  13. On Torhead, General is listed as a given by a mission, not by the JK storyline. It does not list which mission it is, however.

Maybe you are not meant to have everything. I think the goal would be to invite other classes, with interrupts, to join you.
