  1. My guild has cleared 16 man hard Denova, and still no armorings. I would be okay if the black hole belt came with removable armoring so I could pull it and then put a mod of my choice in the orange belt, but alas, it doesn't.
  2. That's not the point. The black hole belt is not modded the way I'd like it to be.
  3. My Black Hole boots say that the armoring is bound to feet. The very purpose of this mechanic was to save set bonus. Black Hole HAS no set bonus. I want to put the armoring in a belt. Where else am I supposed to get good armoring to mod my belt for raids if I can't take it out of black hole gear (which again, has no set bonus and doesn't make sense that it's bound?)
  4. In voidstar, I end with about 350-400k In huttball, usually 200k-300k In alderaan, I just die a lot
  5. The thing that people always seem to overlook when talking about operative healers is that they aren't worse healers, they are simply just HARDER TO PLAY. You can heal hard mode and nightmare operations just fine, but it takes a LOT of practice and fine tuning with your talent tree, and spatial awareness in boss fights.
  6. I am my guild's main healer for Hardmode Operations and I do just fine. My only complaint lately has been Medical Therapy not doing anything. Now it does. Makes me a happy operative.
  7. For healing tree. The nanotech cloud uses way too much energy for its small output.
  8. Well then I must not be working with ideal groups, because I have the gear, and the know how. All the suggestions in this thread are things I already do. I just wish theyd give us some kind of bump to compete AOE
  9. Hey all, I'm a level 50 Operative on "Wound in the Force" and I've been pretty grumpy lately about my character. I enjoy healing, and have had experience healing in other MMO's. When the game came out, Bioware claimed that all healing classes would be EQUALLY viable options, and that you choosing which class to play would be determined solely by the playstyle you enjoy. So, instead of rolling Sorcerer, I rolled Operative. Everything was fine. I could heal everyone in every flashpoint, and had a decent amount of fun healing in PvP. I got a full set of champion (136) healing gear for PvP. It wasn't until I got to Hardmode Flashpoints that I realized how useless Operatives are. Operatives are great at single target heals. I can keep a tank alive if he can keep aggro. A problem arises when you get to fights in which the boss can't be taunted, or swaps aggro frequently. Operatives have awful AOE heals, and their single target heals can't handle 4 people. I respecced dps, but I'm not happy about it. I wanted to heal, and I don't feel like rerolling as a dime a dozen sorcerer to do so. Something needs to be done to balance Operative healers so that they can do just as well as Sorcerers.
