  1. Is there any way you guys could add a choice to scanning those crystals to either mine them for crafting stuff OR taking the whole crystal and using it as a stronghold decoration? I know that's probably a stupid question, but hey, I've been wanting to ask it for a while...
  2. OK Stupid Question time. Do you mean at the Top of the stairs by the throne, or the bottom of the stairs by the Throne... She's kicked my backside so many times, I could ID every Polygon on that set...
  3. OK, so those are so emphatic about not signing "because it will never happen" What do you have to lose signing the Petition? Same with the "I have Amazon Prime, so I'm not signing" so you even have less to lose. As for the "You need to have Disney's Permission, not Netflix" you do realize that Disney signed an exclusive release contract with Netflx, right? Netflix would be the avenue for this sort of series. Also, if you actually look at the petition, rather than simply poo pooing it out of hand, you'd see that the Petition IS directed at Disney. As for the "Disney has said SWTOR isn't canon" Neither was Grand Admiral Thrawn, until they changed their minds. Like I said, what do you have to lose signing it? If you're right, nothing will ever come of it, and you've wasted nothing more than a moment or 2 signing it. Less time than it would take to log on to SWTOR.
  4. Same here. I've been trying, repeatedly. Restarted the Launcher, repeatedly. Rebooted, repeatedly.... No Bueno...
  5. Lock it? Heck, I want them to fix it. That "lead-in" to it was completely FUBAR.
  6. Meh, I just figured with all the ************ and whining I've done over other areas, when they do something I like, it would be a good idea to say Thank You. Sorry you're not thrilled with it.
  7. Thank you for bringing HK back! That is all, for now
  8. Rather than all that, give players one last CLEARLY STATED OPPORTUNITY (Instead of that VERY POORLY SCRIPTED Cut Thing) to make it right in the next Chapter. AND, Make sure it isn't so frigging ambiguous! BTW Devs "You Snooze you Lose" isn't an answer to this...
  9. Are they going to fix the issue from the VERY CONFUSING Chapter 9/10 question foul-up? Kinda sucks if they're going to leave that hanging like that...
  10. Since so much of the Fallen Empire expansion stuff requires travel to Odessen, wouldn't it make sense to have a fast travel ability there?
  11. Harassed? I can't even get them to answer a PM around here.
  12. hahahaha Yeap, the furry little bastards have probably be running themselves ragged... Yeah, I saw that people lost all kinds of stuff while I was busy slaving away. So there is that side benefit I suppose. sorry if you got caught in that! Let's keep our fingers crossed the hamsters just needed feeding...
  13. Go one better, put their PVP flag Open and locked, and drop their level to 20 something, so even a badly geared 30 something can remind them why Cheating is a bad thing...
  14. Kinda sucks, I've been working so much, I finally get a chance to log in, and the bloody thing tells me the server took a dump...
  15. I think you said it best with "Patch 4.0 finally fixed that! Tons of people came back and were enjoying themselves!" Sadly, from reading through the countless comments from the Gank Happy PVP Players, the Geared Up the Wazzoo Hardcore Players, and the Social Butterfly Group Addict Players, they'd be just as happy if all the new noobs, and pretty much anyone opposed to the Nerf-Job would just unsub and leave. Not exactly the kind of environment I personally would want to try and invite newer Players into "Join a Group", "Get Better Gear", or my favorite "If you don't like the challenge, go Read a Book, or Watch a Movie" seem to be their constant answer to everyone who has an issue with the Nerf. I've refrained from saying this, but when I see the snarky, and sometimes arrogant rants topped with that nonsense, the only question going through my mind for them is "What game are you going to play after Bioware pulls the plug on SWTOR, because you so happily pushed all the potential new players out the door, and told them to go Read a Book?" But you're right, a lot of new Players were coming in and a whole lot of Players were coming back, and enjoying the new content, OP Comps and all. But hey, who cares if they were enjoying it, we can't have that, Right?. If these Idiots aren't savvy enough Gear Up, or Brilliant enough to develop a deep, meaningful understanding of Game metrics, or in-game Mechanics, or social enough to join a Group, or online enough to be a part of a Guild, what good are they? If they just want story content, let them go Read a Book, or Watch a Movie, Right? They should just stick to Candy Crush or Angry Birds, and leave SWTOR to the REAL Gamers, and REAL fans of Star Wars, Right?
  16. I think you really hit on something there. The problem is, they could have fixed this mess they created by giving players a choice. Make having the OP Companions a choice, a toggle/switch that you'd actively have to select. For those that want the nerfed comps, add better drops, better gear rewards, and better titles for taking the hard route. Maybe even add a "sliding scale" to the toggle/switch, where as new Player begin to get the hang of it, let them decide when they are ready to nerf their own Comps, and start reaping better rewards and such. This whole "Join a Group" or "get Better Gear" refrain from not just the people who liked the nerf, but some of the Devs as well, isn't going to cut it with New Players. Look, I get it, the Gank Happy PVP Players, the Geared up the Wazzoo Hardcore Players, and Social Butterfly Group Players all seem to like the nerfing, and from many of the comments I've seen from them on these forums, would be just as happy if all the New Player and Players who like the OP Comps, would just unsub and leave. That "If you don't like the challenge, go read a book or watch a movie" line is getting really old, really fast, unless of course the idea is to chase away all the potential New Players and New Subs. That approach may make the Hardcore types happy, but Bioware isn't a Charity. If the Unsubs continue, SWTOR won't be around long, and will simply become a PVP Gankfest before Bioware/EA finally pulls the plug This piecemeal face saving window dressing with excuses "Special Sauce" from the Devs, simply makes Bioware look like they either don't know what they are doing, or that they are just too hell bent on keeping as much of their 4.02 nonsense as possible. It remains to be seen how much of an improvement this new patch will be, but if, as I'm currently suspecting, it is nothing more than a dabble around the edges "fix", the unsubs will continue, or worse be accelerated.
  17. Agreed, but from what I've seen of the comments from the Players that like the Nerfing, it's their way or the Highway, no "debuff" alternatives. It seems those that like the Nerfing would be just as happy if those that don't like it simply unsubbed and left entirely. Now it remains to be seen if Bioware values all players, or just the hardcore players. One would think with that whole "Star Wars Canon" thing still up in the air over at Lucasfilm, Bioware would be doing EVERYTHING they can to make very certain the Player base was as rich and diverse as possible.
  18. AMEN! Frankly, Bioware should give the Gank-Happy PVP Players, and Social-butterfly Group Addict Players a Switch so they can nerf their own Companions if they want or need their companions nerfed into uselessness, but for the Players who want to to solo, give people the choice. The 4.02 Patch may be the last straw for many Folks, and some ineffective Companion "buff" slipped in as some half baked window dressing, with the usual "Excuses" Special Sauce as explanation of why the change is so needed, isn't going to cut it. I'm waiting to see what Bioware does with this self inflicted wound that they've created for themselves, and if it will simply be some band-aid on a bullet wound "fix" they try to implement.
  19. While you are likely correct, from the sound of things from those opposed to the 4.02 mess, hopefully Bioware does something more than a half baked window dressing on this "buff", otherwise they could lose that wave of new paying subs they got just a few months ago, above and beyond those that have apparently already left. That would be unfortunate for SWTOR and Bioware. It is a shame there can't be a viable workaround, where those that like it, can have what they want, and those that don't can be equally satisfied, whether that be on another server, or a "switch" of some sort.
  20. This is purely meant as a QUESTION, but would it be POSSIBLE for Bioware to have an alternate server with the Nerfing reversed to pre-4.02 levels? Let the Players that like it stay in the nerfed servers, and give players who don't like it, move to a different server? Is it really that drastic a difference? I mean clearly, the players that like the nerfing seem like they would be just as happy if those that don't like it simply went away anyway, whether that means unsubbing, or simply just leaving all together, and if Bioware doesn't fix it in some agreeable way, the players that like the nerfing will probably get their wish, and Bioware will lose players, both FTP and Subs. I ask because I don't know the logistics of such a thing.
  21. Same here, the Nerf Sucks. Change it back!
  22. I Like that idea. Give people a choice. If you want your companions Pre-4.02, hit a switch, and they are what they were before, OR if you want your comps nerfed, then hit the other switch. I agree with the whole PVP angle as well, but make it a CHOICE for the individual player, and not an overall Nerf.
  23. It's a shame on something like this, they couldn't give you a choice. If you want your companions nerfed to the point of uselessness, click this button, OR if you want a companion that actually can perform, click this one. Seriously disgusted by the 4.02 changes. I was looking forward to the new storyline chapters, but if they keep making changes like 4.02, I probably won't be around for Chapter 10.
  24. Sorry Bioware, but the changes to the companions SUCK! Change it back! NOT HAPPY AT ALL with 4.02. NOT HAPPY, and the Credit Card I use to pay for my sub is NOT HAPPY either, just saying....
