I would calm down for a few weeks. I think once Makeb releases we will get some information on some of the things we want to know.

No actually it allows them to do bigger badder stories for everyone. You actually need to sit down and think of the cost involved in doing 8 different character quest lines.. making all 8 interesting and good and having them voiced over ect... Takes a lot of time and resources and really isn't cost effective. So we end up with just ok class quest maybe just maybe 1 or 2 class quest line are the cool ones. It's easy to say what you want and ask for it but unless it's cost effective, and doesn't spread your writers to thin why do it.

And in WOW or any other MMO I can go online buy gold and get my stuff that way.. Swtor isn't pay to win your guy just sold enough stuff to buy his hilt of the AH.

Have you played Makeb yet? I would consider a Warzone update or a OPs update a smalle update.. A new planet, level cap raise, new skills, new quest, fully voiced questline, new gear, and prob more as they haven't released all the info hardly a small patch.

Well there have been countless post on the space issue. If they follow those idea then they will hit it out of the ball park.. But they might screw it up. who knows.. But a good space expansion will do the trick a bad one people will go Fudge it and go try elder Scrolls or Arche Age..

I actually like this approach!! Hopefully I said hopefully this allows them to do bigger better stories we can share with friends with better arcs. Better to have 2 awesome story lines than 8 just ok ones.

Now here is someone that reads all the interviews and remembers them. Remember folks they said on the expansion page MORE INFO TO COME.. BUT don't build up your hopes and dreams either. It's a game if it happen it happen if not GO THE FREAK OUTSIDE!!

It sucks that people leave but right now thats the nature of the beast. We have so many MMO's flooding the market it's hard not to have people jumping around to other MMO's..

I do get it and know people are leaving.. It happens with every MMO and that mmo release a expansion and they check it out again. I'm not saying Makeb will bring people back. I've said all along a Space expansion with free open space will bring tons of people back.. the other thing in pvp reform.. Take a look at doing some RVR and open world objectives. ( which they suppose to be adding some to Makeb)

LOL again here they are and all of these MMO's are still subbed based with a ftp option and some wehre sub only. EQ, EQ2, AOC, LOTRO, WOW, SWG, among others. sounds to me you really have no MMO history...

Yea I don't have an answer for that.. I'm sure more info will some out soon. I assume they have a plan but we will see. I would like to see the crafting profession all redone and made more viable in game. SWG and Vanguard had the best crafting systems in my opinion.

What (if anything) will subscribers have to pay for after F2P launches? I wish I had a solid answer for you on that. We’re still in discussion about some of the larger content updates that we’re planning. Great example is the planet Makeb. We’ve talked about Makeb, we have a lot of plans around Makeb. I wish I could give you more details, but I can tell you that I think the playerbase is going to be really, really pleased. More story content. New and interesting things for the players to do. More systems and interesting functions in the game … I can’t go into a lot of detail, but around things like that … This is a pretty big piece (of content). It is probably all that I can say. It is definitely still for discussion whether we sell that to the subscriber or the subscriber gets that for free because it is a big beefy chunk of content.

Yea I will be trying out some other games. Not playing Swtor even though I'm subbed until Makeb. Myself and other are letting some content build up before we come back.

Well good to know there are intelligent people that still play the game. Anyway I'm done with this topic time to get off the crapper.. Wasting time on certain type of people who always like to complain on the interwebs isn't worth time outside the bathroom.

Did you read the MORE INFO TO COME statement on the news release.

It's simple man look at the content of Makeb and the amount of work it takes a company to make that content. A warzone or ops might take 1/10 than man power. Look at it this way Makeb very well might have started out as a free update patch 1. whatever. then they keep on adding and adding to things and it gets bigger and bigger. then they say this has some real value.. If it's the biggest planet they have made so far that is close to being the size of a couple wow expansions that have released too.

You are wrong.. the front page that say Makeb Expansion proves it. Makeb is an expansion no a regular content update like a warzone or OPS. Hold on let me check the front page again yes yes I see it.. Makeb expansion for 9.99.. Mmmm it doesn't say it's a content patch which are free. It''s an expansion which you don't have to buy.. You can continue to play the game and all the wz and ops and not have to buy it either. you will just be locked out of that area like 100% of the expansion in other mmos.

Well expansion could be called content it's a simple mistake to be made. MMO's have mis statement all the time. A warzone or Ops is a small content patch very small compare to the Makeb content patch.. so now we all know small content patches WZ,OPS ect are free and large content patches that we get new level,story lines ect are not.

This is called an expansion not a content update like a new raid or WZ. I would try and read in between the lines here and assume content patch are considered smaller patches like 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 which were a ops, or WZ.. A planet that bigger than any other planet with new story lines, level cap increase, and other things to be a expansion of the game. A planet is an expansion of the game not just a small wz or ops that is an instance in fleet.

LOL you wrong most of the games with 39.99 expansion are just one zone. maybe this isn't as big as some of those expansion hence why your only paying 9.99 man.. It's not rocket science. Or is it?

So your taking one interview where he might of misspoke and going on that. Do you have any idea how many of those 10 min interviews they go through at those conventions? Also try reading in between the lines they pushed it back to spring to add more content. Maybe it that patch grew in size and it's not just a planet release. But you guys are going off one interview where people mis speak and sometime are allowed too. No where did he post it here as official did he.
