As one of those 15+ - 0 people, I've already started giving myself a 1 respawn minimum handicap. On Team Domination maps, I'll usually go bomber and take the outer satellite at A or C. If I die, which still doesn't happen unless the other team actually has their act together, then I'll allow myself to go Scout or Missile Boat, but for Capture games, I usually bomber. Team Deathmatch I'll typically start with a ship I'm working on maxing, which is currently the T2 Strike Fighter, again, after one or two respawns, I'll allow myself to switch over to my main. People are doing it to try to keep the matches balanced, just not everyone.

I personally try to balance my time between defense, clearing 'trash' as someone in this thread said before, and assisting my Gunships. I run a Sting with extended engine pools, so I'm comfortable with giving up a few kills to reinforce a sat. or chase a few scouts off of one of our Gunships. And since I mostly premade with Rumina, I don't feel bad when I am consistently second to him in damage and kills, since I usually have more objective points. Everyone has a part to play.

The comment about keeping things civil was directed at the OP, yes. I too was having trouble at first. It seems like there might be a bug that keeps a few legacy ties blocked when you try to set them. For example, I could no make my Main's enemy have an ally. After closing/opening the Legacy menu a few times, I was able to get all the options to work, all the time.

Hood/Mask options are now implemented. Comparing shooting a gun to developing a multi-million dollar MMO is a bit of a stretch, but that's just my opinion. We have no way of checking your claim about 3buzz and their single-man coding guru. Maybe he's some sort of prodigy? Neo, perhaps?
