  1. How is it not Developers fault!? Developers are there to for see this type of thing. So why then would they make it so easy to level if they know people will finish it so quickly? Its simple math/logic and yet they still couldn't get the formula right. Its the developers faults for making leveling to fast, plain and simple.
  2. Tested after updating to 1.1.0b. and my testing results are as I posted earlier for Maurauder. Mounting is not fixed this was the first test I did when I signed in. You are still dismounted when the cast bar is at 100% and moving forward, however it seems more difficult to time 100% cast bar + forward arrow key, at the same time.
  3. After about 2 hours of testing on my Marauder this morning there are still animation/stuttering/skill delay but far far less of it. ex. Mount still has issues... Ravage - actually SEEMED to be working properly no stopping mid animation and restarting or having to button mash to get it to go off Retaliate - still needs some tweaking, felt ok but was not instant Force Scream - Not once did I have it stutter or not fire instantly. I could fluidly Massacre > Gore > Force Scream then Ravage in a legitimate rotation, without interrupts from skills not triggering. Distract - Worked no matter what I was doing I could be mid rotation or in a Ravage and still stop casts, never once in the 2 hours had to button mash and see no trigger. Vanish - again never once had to button mash or had it not trigger instantly Ability delay is not fixed in its entirety however; I could FEEL the difference in responsiveness immediately when I singed in this morning. Its still not WoW tight but from last night its a pretty good start. BW is on to something and I have hope that they can tighten the combat up even further in the upcoming updates. Just my 2 bits for those that haven't tested yet.
  4. I think you need to go back and read Xcores original posts and watch every video because you clearly do not understand what the issue in TOR is and how its being compared to WoW. "enemy players get snagged on pebbles"? "The Z-axis mechanics are so buggy"? How does any of what you just typed have any resemblance to what is being discussed as TOR ability/delay???
  5. This guy is so wrong... I remember playing WoW back in ALPHA when it got leaked and there were private servers up. WoWs combat ran as smooth/fluid on those ALPHA build private servers as it does today. I then played WoW during the GameSpy 2 months beta where the combat was exactly as smooth as it is today. This guy has no idea what he is talking about...
  6. Very true Rift launch was by far the best MMO launch I have seen to date in terms of content that worked out of the box and how it had the basics of WoW/Stadard MMO feature down. They didn't try and re-invent the wheel they just made the wheel bigger.
  7. This also completely eliminates any sort of DPS rotation one is trying to use on a marauder.
  8. ^ So true even DPSing as Marauder I have noticed this type of behavior. Deflection animations taking priority over skill trigger is just bad. So if your fighting multiple targets and some are ranged, some are melee, you end up standing there deflecting ranged attacks over and over taking up a few seconds with nothing you can do but take damage from melee. To many times have I been in this situation where Smash wont trigger on a group of melee because 1 ranged enemy is shooting me and my GCD keeps triggering as I deflect his attacks... Bad!
