  1. A few tips on how to finish these missions: Remember to move (wasd) and roll (Spacebar) all the time during the missions. This is to minimize the damage you take. Whenever you are not shooting remember to recharge your shields and put all power into shields. If you are low on shields then recharge shields and just use missiles and not laser. EMP burst is a great way to damage bigger ships like frigates. After the EMP you can easily finish them off with some laser or missles. Especially good if you can hit more than one frigate with the same EMP burst. Also check videos on how to do them, here are a few that I found:
  2. You can only view dps for other raid members if they are also running Parsec. The log file that SWTOR generates on your computer only contains actions that you do or actions that otherwise affect you (like if another member heals you). So it is currently impossible for parsers to get dps for a whole raid group unless all members run the same program and sync the data between them. This is true for all parsers, not only Parsec.
  3. If those 2 extra seconds doesn't matter much then why not just give them sprint at level 1 then instead of possibly pissing off both non-subscribers and the subscribers they party with? Besides, 2 seconds every at every fight will quickly add up to minutes and even hours in the long run. It may not affect me much but it does affect me if I choose to play with a non-subscriber. I was just using it as an example and say that it is possible that the restrictions to non-subscribers can affect subscribers and I think that is something Bioware should strive to avoid if possible. And if you don't think it matters much if you have sprint or not, try leveling a character with sprint turned off and compare the leveling times with a character that uses sprint. Btw, does it say anywhere when non-subscribers will get Sprint? Will they get it at level 14 (or whatever it was when SWTOR was released) or will they not be able to get it at all?
  4. But it may affect subscribing players indirectly. For example, if you make a group with a F2P player you will then have to wait for him all the time because he can't sprint.
  5. I think this is a great change. I love that you allow the users to choose whatever style they want. This is one of the things that have been missing from your UI.
  6. I don't think you quite understand what the OP means. If he decides to kill the republic then he will not get as much rewards as he would if he do not kill them. That is the problem: You get more rewards if you let the other faction live. You get rewards when you take the PVP objective. But the problem is that if you are currently holding the pvp objective then you can't take it. You can only take the objective if the opposite faction holds the objective. That is why you let the other faction live so they will get the objective and then you get the objective and you take turns alternating who is holding objective. If you just kill the other faction then they can not get the objective and you can therefore not get the objective yourself. So essentially Bioware is rewarding cooperative gameplay between factions. On a PVP planet!
  7. I don't think you can say "It's not Biowars fault, it is the players that don't pvp that is to blame". One issue is that Bioware has said that Ilum is a planet made especially for open world pvp. And if you design a planet especially for open pvp then you should of course have functionality and objectives that encourages pvp, not discourage pvp. Otherwise why call Ilum a pvp planet in the first place? If there is no special pvp objectives then Bioware might as well just say: "This month Belsavis is the pvp planet of the month. Everybody go there to pvp."
  8. I think it is looks pretty straight forward. An example: Lets simplify and say you and your friend have a heal that heals for 100 HP. If you do not have the talent: If you cast it on your friend you will heal your friend for 100 HP. If you cast the heal on yourself you will heal yourself for 100 HP. If your friend cast a heal on you it will heal for 100 HP. If you have the talent:: If you cast the heal on your friend it will heal for 100 HP. If you cast the heal on yourself it will heal for 104 HP. If your friend cast a heal on you it will heal for 104 HP. So it increases all heals that are cast on you (no matter if you cast the heal or if another player/companion cast the heal). It doesn't affect the heals you cast on other players or companions.
  9. So you are saying it is game over when you reach level 50 with your first char? I hope not or Bioware have done a very bad job at making a mmo.
  10. So you're saying that there is no endgame content? So Bioware has been lying about these operations, heroic flashpoints etc according to you?
  11. We were told from day one of the preorder that the early access would be based on when it is registered. Just because you didn't pay any attention to it doesn't mean it wasn't communicated.
  12. So what you are basically saying is that Bioware has added no game content for when you reach level 50? Don't worry, there will be lots of stuff to do at level 50 (heroic flashpoints, operations, quest etc). If nothing else, they can always create an alt and level the char in a more "normal" pace. I don't really understand those that say "if you rush to 50 you will be out of content". Will you get less content at level 50 if you rush than if you take it slowly? Bullsh*t. I say "Live and let live". Let people level in any way and any speed they want (as long as it is not exploiting or against TOS). I am only level 16 but I can see why some people want to be first. Humans are competative (some more than others) and they want to be the best and fastest at what they do wheter it be running, swimming, olympic games, leveling MMO to max level, playing a football game with their friends. You may not care about that but that doesn't mean others don't care about it. But funnily enough you care enough to make a thread about it and post how you "don't care" about it.
  13. I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to get to level 50 as fast as possible. By what right are you telling other people how to play their game? If they want to do it then it is alright by me. Myself, I'm only level 16 right now so I don't powerlevel myself. I can also see why people do it. Many humans are competative by nature and will get a thrill of trying to be the best/fastest in whatever they do (whether it is swimming, running, driving, leveling to max level, olympic games, local football match etc.). If you think only people without any competative streak is playing SWTOR then I would say you are hughely mistaken. And it is not like the game is suddenly over once they reach level 50. For one thing, they can always create new character that they take it slowly with and explore and view all the cutscenes. There are also tons of stuff to do at level 50 like heroic flashpoints, operations, quests etc.
  14. What if you press Print Screen and then open for example Paint and paste the picture with Ctrl-V? That should work.
