Happened to me twice in one game. Including the game winning score with under a minute to go. I have ball, get stunned on line. Enemy team mate, perhaps trying to knock a team mate of mine back, positions themselves badly to do so. Knocks me over for the score. TYVM

Ive joined a 15-600 game a few times and pressed M to see what was going on. Headless chickens doesnt even come close. People in 2s and 3s trying to cap all three turrets. Hey ho. At least I got my 45 commendations lol.

Not noticed that issue tbh. Only been once in the last week or so and on hard mode. Only "glitch" we saw was that there was not a single Pounce/Frenzy, in fact any other mechanic till we nuked him to about 55%. Was strange. Only other bug we saw, was on Council. We cleared Council 8-HM as a group of 7 (somebody off tanked one of the mobs), and there was no loot at all.

I cant help but agree with the OP. I'm by no means a PVP expert, having only played the last 6 months of PVP in WoW, and playing fairly regularly in SWTOR, though I do TRY at least. IQ's seemed to drop quick sharp after the 50 bracket was implmented. -Hutball = Hardly anyone passes. -When they do its to somebody with 10% health. -When a team does finally manage to score, EVERYBODY is up on the goal line meaning the 2 campers on the ball spawn just LOL to the other side and score back. -People cant seem to tell the difference between left and right. -Nobody trains healers, despite me namechecking them several times. -Constant Civil War afk'ers. -Node/Door Defenders being drawn away from the point to tackle a lone low health enemy. Yet I continue to play, hoping, nay praying for a premade that knows what they're doing. Then you do win, and it doesnt count. COF<NAIL>FIN

Yeah I can imagine fast lightning strikes like that would be nice. especially with the force regen in the lightning tree. If theres not much of a difference, I might just stay the same. Saves me a few creds each time I want to go do some pvp. thanks for the reply.

Agreed that the Nostromo is a fantastic little gizmo. Individually programmable buttons are incredible. I've found that overall my hands are a little too small to comfortably reach every button though. Since I bought it from PC world, their exchange policy is nonexistent if it isnt faulty. I'm going to throw it on ebay and Hope I can get 90% of the cash back. Shame for something less than a week old and used for an hour lol.

OK, so currently im running in a Madness/Lightning hybrid spec having spent a little time doing some PVP just before and at 50. While we know the hybrid spec is very effective (for the moment) in a PVP environment, how does it compare for endgame Raiding. I've only really done BT HM from the list of flashpoints, but have also done EV8 Normal (Faceroll), EV16 Normal 4/5 (inc 1% SOA wipe), and completed Karaggas8 Normal last night. Is there a huge difference between the cookie cutter hybrid build and a pure Lightning build for PVE content.? 1-2% dps difference I can live with, but if its seriously gimping my overall boss damage, i'll want to respec. I say take the hit for the team and throw them the ball. When they get killed they'll get booted for being unresponsive. Unless they are AFK at keyboard. Either way, bunch of tools. Especially with the 50 Q's the way they are as of yesterday.

I was there for about 30 mins and only stayed to do my daily. I gained 2 ranks only from 31-33. Was kind of disappointed I was late turning in my weekly from the previous week, so I couldnt pick it up for this week. I really dont see how people could sit there for hours, I was bored within 5 mins. I moved on as soon as I could. When I say moved on... I went back to fleet and queued for 30 mins for a WZ. Bad times.

Ive had this a few times. Usually when joining a Q directly after logging in. What fixes it for me is by simply going to a different zone. In this case my ship. Not the most ideal situation, but hey, at least I can get in then. In fact thats what I do most days now, pick up whatever daily/weekly quests i can grab then head to my ship for the first. You can head back to fleet after that.

Perhaps she had more rested than yourself? Make sure you log out together. Sometimes if you are healing and you do not "tag" the mob yourself or have no involvement in the kill you may not get any credit for the kill. If you were a level apart at any point, the XP gains are slightly different too asa one mob may be green to one and yellow/grey to the other. Just a few ideas, but overall, I wouldnt worry to much as that a very small amount.

Agreed. I only got 50 2 days ago, and found the same thing. It's all about consistent damage. I moved from the PVE lightning spec to a hybrid madness/lightning one and that greatly improved mobility and gives you a host of instants. Looking at the Deathfield issue. Yes you'll see this. I was i the same position pre 50 and after picking up a few champion pieces from bags and getting a purple upgrade or 2 off the GTN im now getting hits that nab me the 2.5k single hit medal. fyi - surge increase the amount of damage dealt by your your crits. I've still got a while to go with the rest of my gear, but in your case just stick it out. it'll happen.

I use freemake video convertor mate. Very nice compression of files and you can join the 4gb fraps clips together with a single click.

Wow, just dinged 50 yesterday and had a Champ bag bought, 600 merc commendations saved and farming for WZ's again. Opened 2 bags and got my Champ boots. Reading this Im scared of how many more bags im going to have to grind out now lol. For those that got lucky gz, for those still waiting, good luck.

Agreed with killing more mobs than you may be. Also, dont be stingy with the planets quests other than your storyline. Do as much as you can to keep yourself at least a level above the planets recommended bracket. I went to Voss after finishing up on Belsavis, and struggled a bit more than I though with some questline Gold mobs. Went back to Belsavis and put on 2 levels between that and PVP. Much easier now. Not only will you drop gear from mobs, you'll get more companion pieces and commendations from the quest rewards that can nab you an Orange or two from the commendation vendor.

Not strictly true. I'm running a Core i5 2500k, with an ATI 6850 - only on medium, and i'm getting 10-15 fps post patch, on imp fleet too. This is on an SSD and with a Virgin 30mb connection - offpeak. Planetside is better FPS, but still receiving a stuttering effect when running/speedering around most time. Thankfully Warzones are fine, apart from having no expertise

Thanks very much, I'm already in a fantastic guild that is running Hardmodes now, it's just unfortunate that my personal timing of when I can get online, means im going to be an opportunistic raider at best for the next few weeks/months. I just want to keep myself as up to date as possible so that when I get the opportunity to go something more difficult i'm not carried. That, plus I want to see as much as possible, before grinding away on a PVP alt or something.

I'm just a few short levels away, and want to get my plans for activity sorted now rather than mess around when I could be busy later. Basically what extra options do I have for grabbing gear/commendations etc, that aren't available to me just now. I'm currently 45 and doing: Daily Space combat, Daily PVP (and a few more to get some commendations rdy for Champion Bags, General Questing. I know I start getting a weekly PVP quest, which I'll be working on. I will also have access to the HC dailies, though not sure where they are. Can I go do anything else and what types of rewards can I get.? What other means do I have to get gear other than turning Warzone Commendations, into Merc ones for the bags?
