Then as a game developer you should know that Yoda's comment about why the Updates take so long is true.
I am re-quoting this to explain to you how the development process works.
So look, he has people that feed him pictures of what the new gear will look like, he has people suggesting what changes should be made to classes to balance them out, he has people that are giving him drawings of new pvp maps, he has people that are gathering player feedback and trying to pick the bad from the good. Now this is where that ends, because We have now covered the TEAM. We are now stuck with the 1 guy with a keyboard that needs to render the graphics in the game, the 1 guy who needs to make the appropriate balance changes, and the 1 guy who needs to implement all of this into the game.
In a proper development environment you would have 1-2 guys who would Design the maps, 1-2 guys who would focus on creating the new equipment, 1-2 guys that would focus on class balancing. A proper development environment would have between 3 and 6 developers who are focused on this one aspect of the game. Instead we have 1 guy who has to cover the job of up to 6 people. I am pretty sure they don't have 1 guy who creates the new Ops instance, as well as puts all of the gear into the game, as well as creates the boss mechanics, as well as creates the npc animations for the Voice Over, so Why does PvP have 1 guy.
And before you go all high and mighty developer on me, the company I work for just hired 4 new software developers, 2 of them focus on application integration, 1 focuses on visual aesthetics, 1 focuses on functionality. Now if we were to take on the Bioware model, we would just hire 1 guy and tell him to make it happen.
