  1. I ask this because I maimed their mirror classes at launch. I've always played Vigilance on my guardian and combat on my sentinel, but 1) my guild has all moved on to FF14 and the server my toons are on are predominately imperial. 2) my rl friends started playing recently, and rolled on The Bastion. They play imperial and I loved my warriors too much to roll anything else. Which between a vengeance juggernaut or a carnage marauder should I level to 55 in your opinions? I'm not looking for which class can 1v1 better because that doesn't happen enough to take into consideration. I am looking for most utility between the two classes. I already know not to use guard in vengeance spec, and I know each has their pros and cons, but which of those two would you wish to see more on your team?
  2. I am a returning player seeking advice as far as PvP is concerned. I won't ask which class is the most OP, as I've always hated playing FotM classes. I ask you which class do you believe brings the most utility to both warzones and arenas. In other words, which class offers the most utility in all PvP scenarios? I've been told sorcs and sages are nearly worthless, I've been told op and scoundrel heals are retarded, I've been told combat sents and carnage maras being scary burst damage. Which class do you want most on your team?
  3. I "did" unsubscribe, and you don't have to put up with me any more. I have as much of a right to a good game as the rest of you do, but the PvP community in this one is too neglected, ignored, pushed to the back burner, and when I find myself no longer enjoying a game no matter how hard I try to, I just give up on it. Warframe is great, graphics are beautiful, it runs so smoothly, and its just a great alternative to the bread and butter mmo. Give it a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.

    Pot5 pubs

I love you guys to death, but seriously, stop playing so selfishly. Play the objective not the scoreboard numbers. Guard your healers, don't ignore them. Last night in a voidstar I defended a door by myself against 3 imperials, called for help three times, nobody came. Not only did they end up killing me, but before they planted on the door I was solo guarding, but before they even did that they managed to plant on the door where the other 7 pubs were. That's just sad. "You mad?" Last night, absolutely yes I was. "Cry some moar." No crying involved, I went and hopped on Warframe and kicked some butt with Saryn, with a big smile on my face. "L2P". At what point do you draw the line? Defending by yourself, the odds are stacked against you by a long shot, and I can only do so much before I die. "Do carebear PvE if you can't handle losing." No, I can handle losing, but just like winning every time gets boring really fast, losing every time gets boring even faster and just makes you want to pull your eye lashes out one by one, backflip off of the rafters and land on a single stick of vermicelli while singing the lyrics to Tastes Like Kevin Bacon by Iwrestledabearonce... Backwards. There's my rant. Do with it what you will, but I don't see myself coming back until 2.4 is released, maybe by then the pubs will have gotten their act together, and PvP will be enjoyable. Bonsoir, mes amis.
  5. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done with the current matchmaking system. Just like a big group of dps wipes the floor with everything, a group of healers prevents anything from dying. The thing is, we can MAKE it better by respeccing in warzones to balanced teams. One tank, two healers, five dps. This would make things better, in my opinion.
  6. Prepare thyself, for my sentinel shall be there soon and I'd love to be able to do a few warzones against you before you hit 54.
  7. Yep c: school A may be public, while school B is Catholic where there may not be nearly as many oppressive jerks
  8. I'm actually highly considering bringing a couple of toons over to the bastion. Pot5 is nice and all, but there are too many trolls. Plus there have been a number of occasions where I have been personally attacked and insulted and slandered and I of course can't share the names of these bigots due to a ToS agreement, buuuuuut yeah. I also really enjoy your threads and posts, you're very intelligent and an all around good gamer. Count on me being there, and count on my sentinel being on your server tonight.
  9. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. Premades are nothing more and nothing less than a group of people smart enough to play with those whom they know and trust. They have good communication, they have good coordination, they have the perks that a solo queuer doesnt have. In the end, there's nothing wrong. The solo queuers lost, try again next warzone.
  10. XD ohhhhh you poor soul. That's not gangster, that's c.o.o.n.a.s.s. if I was trying to be gangster I'd be sucking my teeth every sentence
  11. It's frowned upon because its much more difficult to stay on your target where focus gives you zealous leap. I play vigilance myself because its so much more fun and the extra flippy moves like overhead slash make for a cooler looking spec. But people say focus brings bigger numbers, and instead of worrying about utility they worry about dps.
  12. I personally don't pay attention to my character's animations, but rather them supa crits I be pumpin out on dat sentinel, sha. Aw yeah, ah likes da crits, dey be nicer to see den dem animations. Tell you what, I take watchin dat lovely 8.5k crit pop ova ya head den watchin ma sentinel twirl dem light sticks around. Down in da bayou, we be takin pride in our numbers, sha. If it look pretty but it don't shoot, it ain't no gun to hunt with.

  14. Well in warzones, they have what's called Bolster, which gives every player in the warzone the exact same base stats, meaning that even if you're level 10 and the Jedi is level 25, if you outplay him you will beat him. Now, in open world such as Tatooine, someone way higher level than you will wipe the floor with you. As far as someone draining your life while regenerating their own, the only thing I can think of off the bat is that it was a Jedi sage healer, since their shield heals them every second, while he was doing damage to you. MMOs are a whole new world of gaming, and they take some getting used to, and even more practice. But trust me, once you get the feel of MMOs, you'll be familiar with every other MMO as well. Welcome to SWTOR, but more importantly, welcome to real gaming
  15. They already have put an end to madness. How many madness sins do you see in ranked?
