  1. I liked it to start with but now I'm starting to find that doing the generic content on each side for the 4th time is starting to drag a little. It's a pity there isn't less repeated content or enough content that you don't have to repeat stuff every time you play through a planet. Also, the OP mentioned something about good storylines? Are we playing the same game? All I've experienced are predictable plots that at the end haven't really gone anywhere or achieved anything all that significant (which is sort of the way it has to be with an MMO, so why bother trying).
  2. I don't care about how many people are on my server, I just wanted all of my characters on one server. But BioWare have decided that I'm not allowed to do that because I didn't start my characters on the right servers. Also apparently moving from a RP server to a non-RP server or the other way around would cause the world to end. So my legacy is split across 3 servers and I can't play with my friends. Server Transfers could not have gone worse if someone decided to intentionally see how badly they could do it. You couldn't plan it to be this bad. Well, that's what I thought until BioWare proved me wrong! BioWare, making the impossibly bad possible!
  3. The server transfer combined with Patch 1.3 is probably what will cause me to leave. 1.3 really doesn't offer me anything useful but it will nerf my Sith Assassin. Server Transfers haven't helped me in the slightest because of the stupid RP -> RP and non-RP -> non-RP only rules. I only started on multiple servers because after a day or so most servers had queues to log in because of poor planning/testing on BW part. If there was not queuing issue on my initial server I'd have made all my characters in one place. But now these server transfers don't help because the servers I'm on either aren't included or are different types (after the RP servers seemed to be so busy at launch I started playing on non-RP servers). It seems like if all you characters were on 1 server to start with than this has probably worked out fine. If you want to consolidate all characters on to one server you're out of luck (depending on your servers). Poorly executed character transfer system means I wont get to play with my friends, so I may as well play something else that wont charge me a monthly fee to not play with my friends.
  4. I just wonder why bother with it if you can't trust what it says?
  5. This is sort of what I expected. So it means you can set it to be whatever find a group the quickest (likely tank/healer I'm guessing). Obviously people might see thought this on a Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight but how can you tell if a Scoundrel/Commando/Sage is a healer or not?
  6. So can you only use this to group for Operations, Flashpoints and Heroics? Can you just make a group to do class, planet and sides quests? Can you not just use it to find a group and then decide what you want to do once you find a group? I can also imagine that every time I'll have to untick every Flashpoint except the 1 I want to do. How does it handle level differences between players? Will I end up on teams with players 2 or 3 levels above/below me? Also, how does it decide if someone is a tank/dps/healer?
  7. So, I'm wondering, at any point in the future, will we be able to transfer from PVE-RP servers to PVE servers (and vice-versa)? Most of my friends have moved most of their characters from Trask Ulgo (PVE-RP) to The Projenitor (PVE-RP). I was hoping that I'd get the chance to move my Bounty Hunter from Kellian Jarro (PVE) to join them, but it seems like this wont happen with the current system. I can move to The Red Eclipse (PVE), but my friends aren't on that server. If these server transfers are really intended to allow me to play with my friends they're going to need to be a little less restrictive. (Seriously what were the chances my friends would have been on The Red Eclipse?) I can understand why they didn't make a PVE-RP server the sole destination for any of the PVE servers (as it would mean anyone leaving would have to go to a PVE-RP server and may not want to RP), but couldn't it have been an option? Let people move to either The Red Eclipse (PVE) or The Projenitor (PVE-RP) and the same with the RP servers, give people the chance to move to a PVE server if they find they don't RP like they originally thought they would. I don't RP with random people I'll admit (why I chose a PVE server) but I may well with my friends. Is there any chance of me being able to do this move a little later on in another stage of transfers? I don't want to move to The Red Eclipse in case that doesn't become a origin server. But if I'll never be able to move PVE -> PVE-RP (i.e. The Projenitor) then I may as well call it quits or move to a populated server and face the fact I wont be able to play this character with my friends. Same applies with my Dune Bantha characters.
