  1. I'd be up for a group queue. Just message Crow, on the Imperial side or Crôw (alt + 147 for the ô) on the Republic side.
  2. I don't think that a lifetime access to operations would do anything but lose money. I do like the idea, however, of being able to buy lifetime access to a specific operation. I also don't really like the idea of the QT, and death restrictions. These will be one of those annoying things that will bother subscribers and F2Pers alike. If you're a subscriber and you're grouped someone who is F2P it won't matter that your QT time is lower, you'll still be waiting on the slowest person. I think that this will encourage solo play more often, which I believe to be a very bad thing to encourage in an MMO that wants to retain players.
  3. Try plugging your numbers into a parser that will separate your bleeds (burns for Guardians) from each of your abilities. (ie http://www.fryingtime.com/) This will allow you to accurately add those bleed numbers into your average damage per strike for each ability. When I did this I found that Shatter (Plasma Brand) actually has the highest damage per global cooldown followed by Force Scream (Blade Storm) (~600 less than Shatter), -100% chance to crit is amazing- then Impale (Overhead Strike)(~100 less than Scream), then Ravage (Master Strike)(~60 less than Impale). Using those results I've been able to change my priority to Sundering Strike > Shatter > Scream > Impale > Ravage. We have very similar gear and with the same buffs I'm able to pull ~100-150 more DPS than the numbers you're posting over a 3 min period. At first glance I thought Ravage would be my main priority because it did such a high % of my total damage done but after taking the avg dmg x3 and then dividing it by 2, (3 hits per ravage, over 2 global cooldowns) I found this to be quite a bit lower on my priority list.
  4. Skotia is designed to be tough because you are supposed to use the quest item in your bag.
  5. It's hard to not have about a 30% crit rate with endgame gear, add in smuggler buff and your bladestorm/execute abilities will have ~95% chance of critting. After 250 Surge Rating I'd try not to focus on it very much, the returns you get after the soft cap vs what you could be getting from power just doesn't work as well.
  6. The only reason Anakin was a slave on the same planet as Luke is because George Lucas thought he would sell more tickets if he had more dumb **** happen on tattooine. Same with this game. Tattooine, a "backwater" planet sure is a major friggin hub of this galaxy.
  7. Been playing an assassin since the first day of early access, and I've killed every boss on Nightmare. I've never had these problems that you're ranting about. The system in place to let me know I was about to pull someone was not that difficult for me to figure out, in fact I found it pretty intuitive. An icon pops up on your head and the NPC that sees you turns in your direction and points at you. It happened to me once on BT and I was able to spot it and back off. If you're complaining about repair bills for your group, give me a break, If you hadn't figured it out by the time repair bills are actually expensive (full broken end game gear) then you have no one to blame but yourself. Just because you can't use stealth in the exact way that you want to doesn't mean it's worthless. The bug where you res and are spotted during "super stealth" is a bug, please place that complaint in the proper forum. TLDR: Stop crying.
  8. I'm not sure if it's the absolute max per run but I've gotten 440 affection for him in BT. Spend the first run or two choosing all different responses and then press before it ends to find the highest yielding affection choices.
  9. My favorite thing about star wars is the stereo types. Jabba the Hutt was a crimelord, so all Hutts are crimelords, there was a band full of Biths so all Biths are musical, Darth Maul had tattoos on his face so all zabraks have tattoos. I miss the original 3 movies, where Jedi seemed like extraordinary humans instead of the gods they've been made into.
  10. I'll never understand the appeal of underwater gameplay. I was very happy to find out they don't have any of that in TOR.
  11. I don't have a link, but I seem to recall a developer saying they were going to change social gear to match each classes highest usable armor type, but it is not something to expect anytime soon.
  12. Um, force cloak is on a 3 min cooldown and can be talented to 2 min, not 1.
  13. The designers figured it'd be a good idea to hose all classes that don't wear light armor when it comes to social gear. I think it was an excellent choice. I mean why would you want all classes to benefit from social gear when you can instead only make 1/4 of the classes benefit from it?
  14. It seems like this must have been enabled at one point. This screen shot of an assassin has a hood and a helmet... http://www.darthhater.com/articles/feature/19842-guide-sith-assassin-introduction I wonder why they removed the feature. I think it would look much better, especially with a helm like Kallig's Countenance.
  15. Has this item been removed from the game? I've been trying to get them for my juggernaut but the only thing I've seen is the Marauder version (medium armor, instead of heavy).
  16. Why are we getting opposing faction schematics? For example why have I received 3 different schematics for making Jedi only robes on my Juggernaut? I would love to use the schematic and sell them but what's the point if it's restricted to Jedi?
  17. Not sure if you missed it, I did for a few minutes the first time I tried crafting something, but there's a button on the bottom right side labeled "craft" which will craft the selected item provided you have enough mats. Also you can queue up to a total of 5 (I believe) things at one time which will be built consecutively by your companion. Just to be clear, this isn't a smart *** comment. I've been a helicopter electrician for along time and I've had pilots who have been flying for over 20 years think the radio's are broken when all they had to do was turn the volume off mute...
  18. Cybertech builds mods/armoring and artifice builds enhancements (+whatever to endurance) Synthweaving does, however, produce armor that can be fully modified. If I understood Emmanuel's post about the new modding system correctly, then you should be able to find/train/loot schematics which have no stats, but have all open slots for mods for just about any model of armor in the game.
  19. Ah thanks, I assumed because Juggernauts wear heavy armor it would have been under that skill rather than weaving. Thanks for all the help.
  20. All the schematics I've seen and can train are all aim/endurance/cunning gear? Where's all the Str gear? do I need to find a different trainer?
