That's already how it is. And if you aren't wearing 336 Hyde of Zeek, or 340 R4 armor right now, mob loot is the least of your problems.

No, it's not if you are under level 80. I have looted level 10 gear between level 70-79. This is across the board. Sub-80 PvP reward boxes could even give you drastically under leveled gear too.

Even at 80 all looted gear is typically 320. All I do is PvP and the occasional Heroics/Flashpoints for Galactic Seasons. All my gear is 332, but I get 320 loot across the board when it comes to random loot from said Heroics and Flashpoints.

Can you cite even *one* other MMORPG that has anything remotely like New Game Plus?  (Not saying that's a reason to not do it, but NGP doesn't seem like a very MMORPG thing to do.)

And how would class-companions work for a character that goes down the NGP route?  Would you be able to, say, have M1-4X with you as Garza briefs you about the battle droid on Nar Shadda, the one that is, indeed, M1-4X?

And if it's *just* to replay over-levelled, well, that's what the Master's Datacron is for.

To be fair, the class stories are a single player game within an MMO. Even the heroics and Storymode flashpoints can be done solo. Group content seems to be in the minority. An ever-growing trend in so-called "MMO's".

One would assume you would require the companions during the story; however, when you get them they would retain their influence level. The OP also wants to keep all his gear/items. A simple level increase on a brand new character would not achieve this.

Nah, I believe the CS rep when they say there's nothing *they* can do- from what I understand, their toolset is actually pretty annoyingly limited. This one is on the devs for leaving in a planet questline breaking bug for multiple years.

That's my point. They don't bother to push it up the chain to resolve. There is no way that it's impossible to reset a questline in an MMO. Imagine is the main storyline was bugged like this. Would the CS just tell you to kick rocks?

is it too much to ask them to either wait until I am finished?

Yes. When the game has been reduced to repeating the same content over and over people want to be in and out as soon as possible. They've likely done the content 100's of time and they're not wasting any extra time because some Karen doesn't like it.

You thought wrong.  It used to be free for everyone, but they recently, as part of their new program to combat credit inflation in the game, changed it to cost credits for everyone.

You sure "inflation" is why they did this? Because there is no way this is going to put a dent in the current billion-dollar economy in which 1 million is the new $1. All they seem to be doing is effectively barring QT for new players and making it a luxury for the rich. The only way to deal with market inflation is for Bioware themselves to put market sell maximums on everything and force people to sell at reasonable prices. Sell maximums being determined either by rarity, level, quality, etc. Most people aren't going to sit in fleet all day trying to hawk goods. And those that do won't be able to compete with the GTN prices for anything other than the rarest items if they continue to ask for excessive credits.

    Hey,

Long story short - companion armor is converting to a different looking piece once you put it on them.

How it looks like in my inventory (and when my Jedi Guardian equips it): https://imgur.com/a/OXQ7zVJ

And when I put the same armor on Kira Carsen: https://imgur.com/a/ky1lY40

She wears the proper (first link) version in game world, but as soon as any cutscene rolls, she looks like a discount Han Solo.

My character wanted to kiss a classy looking lady in a cool Jedi robe, we both weren't ready for that.

Not sure if that's the Sith version of that armor, or a different class variant, but this is wrong and a bit silly.

This happens with every looted armor piece so far.

I was trying to add pictures in a more accessible way, but despite the editor saying I can "Upload or insert images from URL.", I can't find a way to do it.

Basically, anything that has a separate imperial and republic look are not to be equip to companions. Bioware probably put this in the game to get people to buy CM armors. You'd be surprised how many people aren't aware of cosmetic vendors. There is no excuse at this point other than "working as intended".

I bought a Yellow Gas Canister from Zannlyn, an Underworld Exchange vendor at the Republic fleet and when I tried to use the item, I got a message saying "This unlock has already applied to your character"; however, in the Cosmetics section of the GSF window the Yellow Gas Canister isn't unlocked and it's asking for 400 CC.

The same thing happens with the cosmetic for the Imperial ships (a blue-black canister in this case) that is sold at the Imperial Fleet.

    Open a ticket in-game.

Unfortunately, you have to complete most of the story to get her as a companion and then remove the armor.  ☹️  For people recording a playthrough, it is kinda too late by that point.

It isn't game-breaking, but really jarring and looks terrible. 🤷‍♀️

I don't understand. How does she have a customization if she's not a companion? Does she just have two sets of armor on?

Or just give it a lengthy cooldown and make it free everywhere.  Like a Hearthstone.  Or hell, just give us the ability to select a home point to teleport to once an hour...

It should be free if it's ready, but you should be able to pay to use it anything it's on CD. What gets me is it's way more expensive than a taxi. It cost more to go from one station in the fleet to another than it does to travel to a distant planet.

The fees are outrageously too high if you don't have a legacy bank with money to give yourself.

Teleporting from Chamber of Speech to Jedi temple cost nearly 1,000 credits. As a new player with no legacy on Tython, I had but maybe 200 credits. How the hell am I to QT as a low level player?

You're not supposed to QT. They have effectively removed it as a QoL convenience. It is now a luxury for those with money.

The bonus for killing the Colossal Monolith, according to general chat is not working. We need 4 kills, and there are only 3 bosses, so do not bother with this one this week. you have to repeat at least 1 boss on another character.

Additionally, so many people have forgotten the Colossal Monolith fight that you might have a hard tie finding capable people; the fight is non-trivial.

Shame that Bioware gave us a 12 point Season Objective that cannot be done.

Also, the Weekly quest for Hive of the Mountain Queen is not working. It does not recognize the kill (at least in 8 SM mode), but I can confirm it is giving credit for the season weekly.

(Also, it is confusing as heck that the Season Weekly is called "Heart of Ruin" and so is the weekly quest to kill both Colossal and Worldbreaker Monoliths.)

    Working as intended.

  12. I'm tired of stuff being sold that I'm not trying to sell because I leave the vendor window open in the background and forget about it. Sometimes it's forgotten under another window. Especially when dealing with items that cannot be bought back. Went to open a Bag of 200 Tech frags and it got sold back. Problem is I only had room for 75 more so it effectively stole 125 commendations without so much as a warning.

A few immersion breaking dialogues for some class/species combo (like Cathar Trooper or non human/PB SW) isn't really on the same level as immersion breaking things on all 8 classes for an entire planetary story + all the side quests on that planet + most interactions with pretty much every Voss NPCs. I do try to avoir the weird class/species combo, but that still usually leaves me with 6-7 other options, which would definitely not be the case with Voss.

And that doesn't change the fact Voss PCs would stand out in a very bad way compared to every single Voss NPC in game, NPCs only have 1 color+pattern/gender (and adding more patterns without changing the NPCs as well would look very odd, it is already the case with the other species added later, but not to the same extent as the NPCs for these species as they already have more variations than the Voss NPCs), they don't use the same body structure as our PCs (so they'd look completely different or they'd have to rework all the PC models + all the armors) and that's also not mentioning the fact they don't speak like our PCs, they do have a voice modulation (not the worst part here though), but they have a different speech pattern and different ways to construct their sentenses than all PCs, not to mention the imp ones having a very distinct accent that no Voss has.

Nothing works in favor of adding them except that some people want them, honestly a holo disguise or some kind of Voss mask with the right voice modulation to change the PC's face to look like a generic Voss face would do the trick just fine if you don't care about immersion, and would require a lot less work than making an entire playable species.

And i never said that must cater to me and only me, but considering how many new species have been added in 11 years, you'll excuse me if i'd rather see added to the game species that actually work and that i'd be able to use. If they added another species alongside a Voss species, then fine, i'd just ignore Voss, but if the choice is between Voss or something else, then sorry, i'd go for something else, especially since there are other species that actually work without breaking immersion on pretty much every level and are usually more in demand than Voss.

It is exactly the same. If it does not fit with the story, it does not fit with the story. It does not matter what amount of classes it does not fit. And, again, it's not about you. If you don't want to play a Voss then you would not have to. Just like I don't have to play a cathar warrior.

The player Voss would be shorter. The end. All that other stuff your saying is you continuing to play clueless. Player voice could have modulation added to Voss players by default. Or, you know, maybe not and the people who to play Voss do not care about any of that.

Nothing works in favor of adding any new species by your logic. Except that some people might want said hypothetic species. That would be the only reason to add any species... What? Are we going to add the species nobody wants to play?

Your disagreement center around YOUR personal preferences. That is, in effect, you stating Voss should not be playable because YOU personally would not enjoy or desire to make one. You wanting a species you'd like to play and you telling other people they should not have one they want to play are too different things. I'm surprised you have not picked up on the irony. Note: The choice isn't between Voss and something else. No choice has been brought up. This thread is about adding Voss as a playable species. Period.

Immersion may not be an argument for you, but it is for other people.

Cathar, Togruta and Nautolan, while having only 1 face/gender still had various colors and patterns on NPCs. Voss are the opposite, they do use different face models (and even then, i'm not even sure we actualluy have more than 3/gender), but they all have exactly 1 color and pattern/gender. And you still have to this day players complaining that the PCs of these species don't look like their NPC counterparts, which would be even worse for the Voss as you'd have a very different bodytype than the NPCs, and basically no customization options.

So, while i like Voss as a species, they're definitely not anywhere near the top of MY wishlist of new playable species.

It's an argument for YOU, and "other people" who think like you, to not play one. It is not a general argument for you to tell me I can't play a Voss because YOU don't like "immersion breaking" content. Whether or not I play as a Voss in the origin story is none of your concern. Nobody is forcing this on you. Just like it's none of your concern if I play a Togruta Sith Warrior in a story where pureblood/human supremacy and purity are stressed. We literally have "immersion breaking" stuff like this right now.

Current Voss models are irrelevant. They will make more patterns. Are you seriously still on that silly argument? I'm not going to insult your intelligence by pretending you actually believe what you're saying is a valid argument. You know - you KNOW - they would make more face patterns and colors if they made them a playable race. So stop the cap.

Your entire premise seems to revolve around having no personal interest in play a Voss so nobody should be able to. Every decision needs to cater to your personal tastes. I think the playable Cathar and Nautolans are hideous. I do not want to create a character of either species. I have never made a Twi'lek nor do I have any intention of making a character with head clipping issues. That is NOT a legitimate reason for me to oppose other people's ability to enjoy those species. There is room for everyone.

It would turn a whole planet's worth of missions into gibberish.  "You'll need a special permit to go to Voss." with no option to say "But I *am* Voss!"  Or all those folks on Voss who tell you you can't do X or Y or Z because you are not Voss, with no option to say "Well, just look at me!  Are you blind or something?"  Or your agent faced with

      Reveal hidden contents

    Bas-ton

and being unable to tell him you're better qualified to be a sleeper agent there than he is, because you are a *real* Voss rather than a surgical Voss.

    And a bazillion other things.

Or, you know, people who would choose to play a Voss don't care about any of that. They simply want the aesthetic and don't necessarily define their character around the confines of the origin story.

Senya's armor set bleeds through Senya's customization (Senya's traditional armor customization) in all of her KOTFE/KOTET scenes and when you have her summoned.  In order to fix this, you have to go through all of the story to get her as a companion and then manually take off her original armor set (each individual piece).

This really breaks immersion in the story as the clipping between the armor sets is distracting and unsightly. 😬

Please fix Senya's customization so that it overrides the original armor set appropriately! Senya's the best and she deserves this fix!!

Seconded! I'm helping a family member play KOTFE/KOTET for the first time and I hate that her experience is being diminished by this bug. Please fix it, Devs. Especially for the sake of new players seeing this content for the first time 🙏

So, disable the customization? Yes, they should fix the bug. But this is something you can remove for the time being, no? Excuse my ignorance.
