  1. Golden rule of MMO's that I always followed is this: Assume everyone is a dude till proven otherwise with solid evidence. Limits the problem of gender completely.
  2. Well it gave you a clear warning before starting that storyline that you'd be losing your companions. I believe eventually we'll get them back as the story progresses.
  3. Sith Empire is a meritocracy. Where your ability eventually outweighs your race.
  4. So it really just comes down to people not liking how much it cost? If so, I don't think making it cheaper would really make it more useful. If anything we'd unlock easier then complain how it isn't enough storage. I guess in the end they should have just added the option for 5 more cargo tabs that add up to 50 mil (Well lets be honest, it would be worth more than 50 mil lol). Since that would give a lot more space over a lot more toons.
  5. Can someone explain to me what the perfect legacy storage entails? Like if they made it cheaper, it all of a sudden becomes perfect or were people expecting more tabs than 5? I see it as nothing more than storing items I might use on another toon at a later date. Everything else I will still use the mail system for quick transfers. So if someone can explain to me what would make this function perfect, I'd be grateful because I really don't get the outrage at this point except people don't want to spend credits on something they don't even really need.
  6. If you don't trust the GM or the guild as a whole that you've join, then you shouldn't be in that guild or at the very least don't give them credits/items. If you're naive enough to still get swindled then it isn't BW's fault, it's your own.
  7. Then you won't get a guildship? Simple as that. It shouldn't be something they just hand out, but something that is earned. If people unsub because they actually have to work for something in a MMO, then they're most likely not cut out to be playing MMO's in the first place. As someone who works 8 hours a day, I still have enough time to run dailies and ops while making a good amount of credits. Being casual isn't an excuse since making credits is too easy in this game.
  8. Jeez, BW can't win with this community. They make something hard to get that you have to work for (Guildships) people complain it's too hard. They make something easier to do and have to work less (Makeb) and people complain it's too easy. I'm enjoying these threads so far, but I'm starting to feel bad for BW at this point. No matter what they do, they can't please people. lol Makeb was already easy once you knew where to go and what to do, so I can see the discontent. Although how exactly is making a credit grind planet easier hurting anyone? If anything I welcome it, since I still do the dailies on makeb, it'll just make them go by faster.
  9. It's a good thing the people complaining don't play STO. Only spending 50 million on a starbase would have been nice, instead it was a constant resource dump. Not just credits but items and currency you needed for other things which would make 50mil overall seem like childs play. Also the whole "We're a small guild" stuff isn't a good excuse, I've been in small guilds that can keep up with large guilds. You just have to be willing to put in the time and effort for something you want instead of messing around with your playtime and complaining.
  10. Signed up to the website early, but didn't start playing till later. lol
  11. I know when I lvl'd up my healer in KDY. I would heal more than DPS (But still DPS enough not to slow it down), however this was mostly because I wanted to learn the class as a healer. As far as expecting it from others, not really. lol
  12. This wouldn't really make more people queue for pug groups. People will just queue in guild/friend GF groups and get the same rewards. It really makes the whole "Give better rewards to tanks and healers" suggestions pointless if you can bypass pug's all together in GF by having a group already before queuing.
  13. What server do you play on that complains about healer numbers? lol That's a problem I'd like to have, would be like complaining how there are too many Tanks in the FP queue's.
  14. How long are people actually wasting time on one planet? Even when I lvl'd toons doing planetary quest, I don't think I ever spent too much time on one planet to the point I cared about its day/night cycle. Seems like it would be a pointless move with little to no return to invest in such a useless feature. Although I guess people have to find something to complain about on these forums, or it wouldn't feel normal around here. lol
  15. The Irony of OP's post is that only Pubs had this bug, Imps didn't. So pubs got to benefit from it during the time period it was accessible at low levels while the Imps never did. So be happy about that at least, instead of being upset about not being able to benefit from a bug anymore. We imps didn't have the luxury of that high xp weekly. :\
  16. Think it was a upgraded version of a mission where I had to go through an asteroid belt while fighters where gunning at me. Then in the middle I had to fight a space station (Or a cruiser?) then I had to go back through the asteroid belt while still fighting more fighters. It was relentless. X_X
  17. I would love space missions (Even if they are on rails) if they didn't get crazy hard too early in the normal missions. Think I got to the lvl 3-4 ship gear missions, upgraded my ship and still got my butt kicked. So called it quits and never went back. lol The whole 1 lone fighter vs an armada gimmick gets old quick.
  18. Not sure how offering more XP to another faction would fix numbers (Even if they were really low). Having a 55 doesn't mean you'll play it as much as your other toons. I have a 55 pub that I leveled 2 dbl xp weekends ago, and most of his gear was transferred from my imp toons. lol So he is in full 168's with some 180's and only having done 1 OP while having done no HM FP's. Its really personal preference, and you can't fix that regardless what you offer.
  19. Check the GTN, and if it isn't on the GTN then you decide the price. Supply and demand.
  20. The reason you don't hit the ultimate cap as quick as elites because it's the endgame comms. Elites aren't, nor should they be treated as such. I've hit the ultimate cap plenty of times, in the process wasting plenty elite comms. However I'd rather waste elite comms than lose out on ultimate's. On the other side, basics and classic comms caps are higher because of their irrelevance to endgame advantage. (Minus Iso's for basics) I used to have your opinion though, so I know where you're coming from. However you really just got to look at the bigger picture. Elites are easy to get and you'll hit the cap every week with ease. So I got over it after almost a year of playing, once I realized how easy it was to get so many with multiple toons. I'm sure they'll raise the cap eventually, once ultimate's are no longer endgame comms.
  21. It's not BW's fault you plan to do so much in 24 hours. Even if they raised the cap another 100, it would be easy to still hit the cap if we go off your play style of 24 hours. It's really to control your progression so that you don't burn out your experience of gearing your toon within a month. Even with these caps, once you play for months. Elite comms become as plentiful as basics, and to the point you start throwing elite gear on comps you don't even use. lol
  22. I play on JC, and I really don't get what the OP is talking about. I see plenty of pug groups being formed in fleet chat throughout the week. Of course when it comes to progression it's mostly gonna be guilds that keep to themselves, there is no reason to involve pugs when you're having fun with buddies in a guild. I've also played on other servers, it seems to be the same formula of how people operate. This idea that JC is doomed because every progression guild isn't slinging their e-peen in fleet chat is a little much. Granted I'm sure the OP is one of our resident trolls in JC, so this is probably just bait.
  23. December, 6 month interval puts it coming back in June/July. Which the road map recently released seem to back up. Prior to December Gree was also over the summer that year. So it seems to be on a 6 month interval judging from its pattern.
