  1. I guess all those threads and complaints and videos on YT about FPS lag with anything bigger than 8v8 was just a figment of my imagination. BTW, WPvP in this game is dead.
  2. And I can't take you seriously when you belittle anyone who dare criticize SWTOR.
  3. Actually you probably were not because SWTOR lost over three-fourths of its sub base and was FORCED to move to F2P to add a cash shop in order to stay afloat.
  4. Because EVERYONE who plays the game saw that thread and voted on class story. Even those who quit the game came back and voted for more class story. Stopped reading right here because all you have for "proof" is a conjectural thread that proves absolutely nothing! At least I can bring up numbers. /check_and_mate
  5. Read the rest of my point. As I and others have stated you guys are the minority in the MMO community and it will always be that way.
  6. At least we don't settle for mediocrity. The fact that you require I cite this means you're very new to this game. 2+ million boxes sold (~1.7mil subs). UNDER 500k subs. Assuming subs stabilized from the last report of ~500k subs after it was last reported, subscriptions FELL 16%. Reported in Q2 FY2014 (October 29, 2013). And some of you people have the audacity to say this game isn't dying. Give me a break.
  7. LOL that poll is so unreliable it's not even funny. The same person can vote for FIVE options. BTW the main reason class story one is because a majority of the voters picked it. Obviously but those players are pretty much the only players left playing this dying MMO. All of the MMO'ers left en masse during 2012 and 2013. He is still in the minority otherwise and that poll doesn't prove anything whatsoever. So care to explain how SWTOR bled over 2 million subscribers?
  8. Could you please cite your sources on these "exit polls?" Zion, I understand your adoration for story but back then during these mass exoduses EAware never stated anything of discontinuing class stories in any way, so how could players leave because class stories would be discontinued, be the #1 reason for players leaving en masse, when this was mentioned about a year ago? In regards to the general MMO populace, it's the ENDGAME experience that retains us, not the leveling experience. Maybe the "come for the story, stay for the multiplayer" experience factors into this, but as you can see there has been more than enough story (class, side-quests, dungeons, and raids) to come for the story. Once you get to endgame there is virtually nothing to do, or better yet, there is things to do but there's such a lack of it both qualitatively and quantitatively that you're not engaged enough long-term. I'm sorry Zion, but class story isn't the primary focus of MMO'ers.
  9. It's not speculation. I'm trying to cite it for you but I can't seem to find the article; however, it was said but I will agree, it was damage control.
