  1. Question for Vaylin romancers, how would you explain her coming back to life to romance? Curious about this.
  2. I would buy it too. I pay for DLC's on other games You bet I'd buy a DLC that expanded an Arcaan storyline for my character.
  3. I totally thought the same thing, and when he said it in my head I could hear my girl say, "I think I just did."
  4. For me playing a LS Sith, once he had her frozen in carbonite, he spent some of those five years having people dig any information he could find on the one person in all the galaxy that held his father's undivided attention to the point that his father offered to share his power with her and not his own son. I head-cannon that it became an obsession. The more he learned about her, the more he became possessive of his frozen trophy. Then she defied him by escaping. That's why he just sort of stood there watching her escape in that "ugly ship" as his sister called it and jumped him for not stopping their escape until it was too late. He was both surprised and awed rather than just angry. From the beginning, when he said those words, "I trust you can walk." and as she observed him during her initial talk with his father, she could see there was a good person deep inside trapped in a web of emotional scars that the former Sith Emporer had placed there, much like the Emporer had done to the Emperor's Children ( Kira story), and as in another example that she would of course not be aware of, like the way an Emperor trapped a good person in a web of emotional scars (Anakin.) She could feel the good in him the way Luke had felt the good in Vader. Once Arcann was healed of all that hate he could see her in a different light, all the things he'd read that she'd accomplished before hunting down the Sith Emperor, combined with her mercy in letting his mother take him away to be healed. He'd read the history of how much she had defied his father while he was in the form of the Sith Emperor. They didn't have to be enemies. They had a common ground. Still...the obsession remained. And what was that last line in his email? "...and I have you."
  5. Well I loved both parts of the Eternal Empire and would love to see the extended cut. I'd pay a DLC price on the cartel market to get it even. I've played MMOs for so many years I'm seriously burned out on them, but I can play SWTOR because I can play it like a single player game, solo and immersible story. Story is everything for me, not the grind, not the endgame. I know that's not popular and I know it's not the direction a lot of MMO players want and this is after all an MMO. But for me selfishly, I'd pay for the extended cut as DLC the same way I paid for the DLC's for all the Dragon Age games and the Mass Effect games.
  6. Which is exactly why I'm going to wait to play Umbara until it's all resolved. Binge play. I get to enjoy the story without all the angst of waiting between chapters.
  7. I am soooo sick of zombies. Sick sick sick. A decade of zombies in movies and TV, and in Star Wars we have the Rakghoul. Even last Sunday Game of Thrones had to ruin their show for me with... Zombies in any form are lazy writing imho so they don't have to be creative enough to write decent characterization for the bad guys. /rant off
  8. Well now that the situation is confirmed I don't think I could bear to play it and then have to wait for the conclusion. I'm going to wait and save this chapter until the next one comes out so I can save myself the box of tissues.
  9. Well whatever this turns out to be, we aren't going to get an answer likely until the next chapter after this one and it could take how long? So we are going to sit in limbo waiting for an answer , at least I expect so.
  10. Yea, see my dark Jedi was intelligent dark, not unhinged dark. Scourge respected her. They were a lot alike. Him being an LI would have been great. I figure the only reason the Jedi Council put up with her is because she got things done where they couldn't and it kept their hands clean.
  11. I'll tell ya, the only thing that twerks me about this story line, whether it's doom, or temporary betrayal, is that so many of us put a lot of time into building up the character for crafting and such. LOTS of money and companion gifts, money in customization. Money. And then they take a character away for however amount of time (if not entirely) after we've spent so much in credits and for some people, real cash at the cartel market.
  12. I was in that camp too, wanting Scourge as an LI choice. As for the topic at hand, my vote is on triple agent and he can't tell the commander because the real problem is someone too close to our PC, so the Commander has to be very much out of the loop on this, even to the point of breaking hearts.
