  1. Appearance Tabs are comming in 1.2 (standard disclaimers of "a work in progres, assumes no issues arise" apply) If you look on Youtube you should still be able to find the video they did from the guild summit. It's one of the things in it. Edit: I'm in a good mood: at 1:23
  2. Actualy, you CAN get a jawa pet Imp side. On Tatooine, there's a mission where you need to find a Jawa Shaman. In the mission you capture them and then take them back to the cave entrance. If you just ignore the guy at the cave entrance, your Jawa pet will follow you around even outside the Instance I think it's on a timer though (those "Tag along NPCs" for missions usualy have a 45 minute countdown on them that you can see in the quest objectives window)
  3. Ok... "There are far more people who dislike cutsie pets than those who do". Note the above is an untrue statement, but you asked for it. (you even said please!) Seems pretty obvious to me that there's far more people who either a) don't care one way or another or b) want them added. My personal guess is it goes: Don't care > Want it > Don't want it > Don't want it so much they make childishly subjected threads on the General board.
  4. Currenlty, it's Green --> Blue --> Purple or Blue --> Purple --> Better Purple Orange schematics are seperate entities.
  5. I agree. Personaly HATE capes on my smuggler (love the "Han Vest" look). But then again, I love putting Risha in an outfit with a Cape. So capes for me = no. Cape OPTIONS = yes! PS: Love the incredibles reference too PPS Qyzen (Consular starter companion) looks good in a cape too! Just swap out the STR mods with AIM mods.
  6. If you mean "power" by our resource that gets used up when we perform abilities... in UI settings you can set it to display number and % somewhere in there. (That's how I"m currently set up). There's two seperate options. One for displaying your HP/Energy and one for your targets. Edit Just re-read what you said... if you hover over your Tech Power on your character sheet it should give a breakdown. Still at work so can't be more specific. I'll try and update when I get home if noone else has.

    ummm

On failed missions you get partial points, and those points don't round off. They give a number like +1.809324687234 Darkside/Lightside points.

    Slicing

Other people had already covered that part in posts before me. Didnt want to be redundant Yeah, as of right now if you're only playing one character, you'll only want to take slicing if you plan on making them a gatherer. (you can find other threads with suggestions of optimal choices). Best setup for a Cybertech/Slicer is Cyber/Scavange/Slice assumes you have alt(s) covering Underworld trading (Armormech, Armstech, or Synthweaver). It's definatley going to be interesting to see what the final result they end up with and how it meshes Slicing with other tradeskills come 1.2 when they have craftable Augments.
  9. Seems pretty clear here: http://www.swtor.com/info/systems/crew-skills Also seems cut and dry when you click on the Trainer and see what it says. The fact that you can do missions to gain items (Augments) that you can't get form the nodes is no different from any other Gathering skill. I can get Conductive Flux, Inuslating Flux, etc from Scavanging missions, it doesn't make scavanging a hyprid. I can get Termoinoic Gel Suspension, Demicot Sillk, etc from Archeology missions, it doesn't make it a hybrid. I can get First Aid Kits, Hyp Syringes, etc from Bioanlysis missions, it doesn't make it a hybrid. People need to get over the fact that they made a mistake when the game was first released and set the returns to be too high on the missions for Slicing. Trying to twist the skill into something you believe it should be does not make it so.
  10. Normally I hate the "Here let me fix your post" but OP really deserved it. Artificing can break it down into Archealogical (sp?) components.

    Slicing

Slicing goes with Cybertech. It drops schematics for Speeders and Ship Upgrades. Currenlty Speeders are Bind on Pickup (craft up?), but that's scheduled to change in patch 1.2
  12. You can hotkey the crew skills?? Shoogli is my new hero. If you got characters on GM Zym, or Jekk'Jekk, let me know character names and I'll shower you with presents.
  13. The Hutt Network on Nar Shaddaa is cross faction but is seperate from the faction GTNs which are accessible from Capital World/Fleet/Tatooine Outlaws Den Edit: Hit save too soon Anyway, yeah I agree they probably should be consolidated into one big GTN. Just have it be that the Hutts take over the Faction Networks. Or at the least, add in a Hutt Network Terminal at the Fleet/Capital/Outlaws Den station.
  14. Yeah, it's right click on their portrait, choose "Dismiss Companion" then just hit the "Call Companion" button in the bottom left of the (now) emplty portrait. That process takes the same amount of time as "Find companion, right click on him and watch him get back up". (in some cases if you do a lot of kiting/moving it's faster to dismiss) This is definately NOT something that would be a priority issue over important stuff It's just there's literaly no reason to use rez over dismiss/summon, it's not like companions have "Summoning Sickness" when they get called up.
  15. Yeah on my DPS Socerer, "wet noodle" pretty much sums up how well Khem helped out. I ended up taking a page out of the "How to beat Imperial Agent End of Chapter 1 Boss" and kept throwing out my DOTs and running behind pillars to get out of LOS and just interupting her Heal. I'm making sure my Heal Speced Sorcerer is at least level 32 before he tries it I had so many problems with it.
  16. I want to know who thought it would be a good idea to put a level 50 rat in a zone on a level 25-30 planet.
  17. Hey, at least it's not Tython/Korriban. There you have to go to a space dock, then take a shuttle down to planet, then reverse process. For Coruscant, you can at least take that nice shuttle directly back to the Rep Fleet that's next to the taxi stand in the Senate District.
  18. There's no reason to currenlty use the Companion Rez ability. (other then pure laziness) In any situation, you're better off dismissing and resummoning. The Summon channel takes just as long as the Rez Chanel does When you summon the companion, they're at 100% HP, but when you Rez your comanoion they only have a small % of HPs, so you end up having to Regen to get their HPs back. So my suggestion is that when you rez a compaion, they get back up at 100% HP.
  19. No, someone dosn't understand english. The STORE is exclusive. It still excludes anyone who didnt by the CE from buying from it, so it's still (literally) exclusive. I don't remember them advertising that the items in it would be exclusive http://buy.swtor.com/us/
  20. Unless they change it for 1.2 .... Investigation does not give any Orange Schematics, only Blue ones. Underworld trading has the Synthweaveing and Armormech Orange Recepies. Currently there are no Armstech Orange schematics outside of the trainer and (I think) the OPs/Hard Modes
  21. Ok there's a simple reason why the Tech Blade and Tech Staff only has no Orange option... They're Aim Based melee weapons. Melee weapons use Hilts. Hilts only come in Strength and Willpower. Barrels are the only things with Aim on them, which are used for Blasters and cannons. That's why Electro Staves come in OJ varrieites... it's stat is Willpower, so you can make hilts for it.
  22. Well... unfortuantley for me, that wasn't the spoiler..... Vette was the spoiler for me. (Sith Warrior companion) I was talking to Vette on my Sith Warrior and she went on about how Nok Draden in one of her dialouges and I thought "Oh neat, she ran into the guy who my Smuggler is going after treasure for" about how Nok saved her and she used to run with him and how she was great friends with his daughter. Then in the next sequence with her she said how her and his daughter Risha, used to get into all kinds of trouble and I was like "***!" Seeing how some of the compaions stories cross over to other classes stories is kind of neat (like how Qyzen tells you about how he ran into the Bounty Hunters mentor, Brayden) but Vette spilling the beans like that was a bit too much. I felt they really should have avoided using Risha's name. The weird thing is that Risha recalls how in her childhood she was great friends with a Twillek, but (I think) she dosen't call Vette by name. Although when I finally DID get the end of the Smuggler chapter 1, I did smirk when I realized that Vette didn't realize what Nok really meant when he conastantly called Risha "His little princess".
  23. Ok ticket was moved to the Dev Queue. No ETA on a fix. I'm guessing they won't be able to look at it till Business hours tomorrow. I'd suggest putting an ingame /bug report if you haven't yet.
  24. Ok something similar just happened to me. I just finished Nar Shaddaa and picked up Bowdarr. He was still a guest, but I swapped him in for the trip back to the ship. I had some gifts already lined up for him, so was feeding them to him on the way back. I got to the ship and talked to Risha and picked up the next mission. Before going to the ship to "save the damsel in distress" I decided to stop at Coruscant first to finish up the Companion Quest for Corso. When I got out of the ship I had no companion. When I pulled up the crew skill window, Bowdaar was missing. I went back into the ship and he was still missing from my crew skill window. I got a /bug report opened for it now, and a CSR is looking at it (The ticket is currently "locked"). Soon as I hear back I'll let you know what happens.
