  1. Still a hell of a lot better than Vigilance Guardians, bud.
  2. I our raid shadows are the top of the dps parse as balance spec, slightly above sentinels and gunslingers. BTW you misplaced a few descriptions there, gunslingers are the ones that reduce armor, not sentinels. You can make the following argument to your guild about dps shadows: - highest dps in game in balance spec, additional ninja rez, ability to grab and hold aggro in case the tank dies, extra taunt in case the tank needs to be topped off. I honestly don't understand why you've been replaced in your raid, shadows are best dps tank classes in game with more group utility than dps commandos or guardians.
  3. I wonder when I'll be able to toggle hoods on my companions... or get better gear for my lovely Kira... or get a reply from the developers about the problems that ACTUALLY MATTER!?!?!? - State of PvP wasn't addressed - Class balance wasn't addressed - Server merge deadlines for low pop servers weren't addressed The 3 most discussed topics that are causing people to quit aren't being addressed. 1.1 was better than 1.2... just saying.
  4. Wonderful idea and a great post!!! You, sir, have my full support!!! I want to engage in a challenging PvP where great team tactics wins over mindless zerg fest. Dying in 4 seconds while being stunned is not fun. Having a long and engaging fight with other players on equal grounds is. BioWare... BE AWARE of this thread!
  5. Not gonna read through 90 pages but... here is my opinion on the new sets: - Trooper, Juggernaut, and Bounty Hunter armor art looks like it belongs in Star Wars universe. - Smuggler and Agent could use work. I don't understand bright colors on 'stealthy' classes. - Inquisitor armor would be great... if this was some fantasy MMO like FFXI, Aion or WoW. Majority of your fan and player base, BioWare, are in their early 20s or older, I'd like my characters to look like they belong in the world I'm playing in. - Consular and Knight armor... I really don't want to use curse words to describe the looks but I find it hard to describe the looks of these sets without them. So here is my personal suggestion: 1) Take a look at Knight Rakata and Consular Battlemaster sets and 2) Make every new set you design draw inspiration from those sets. Your player base wants their characters to look like Jedi and Sith, Soldiers and Special Ops Agents, Off-world Smugglers (think Firefly TV series) and Marauding Bounty Hunters... NOT SPACE CLOWNS. Make it happen... I have faith in you BioWare!!!
  6. Sigh, another one of those threads it seems. Listen, I've got 2 battlemaster characters, one I grinded at release and one with the new and improved quick valor system. One thing I can say for sure is that new 50s should NOT be required to grind for their gear to be competitive in warzones. Would I love to be rewarded with a unique gear for all my efforts in pvp? Sure, it would be nice. But it wouldn't make much of a difference. I play for the FUN of PvP and occasional gear progression is all that I desire. My problem is the lack of visual representation of the jedi knight end game armor (so far only columi/rakata art is good looking). I'm NOT a space samurai... I should not look like one.
  7. If you look at the other classes, all of them have some form of increasing your critical damage and chance. Vengeance Juggernauts do not. Their dots are subpar and so are their critical damage. I'm PvPing and PvEing in rage spec, and it works wonders. I still feel like my dps is not on the same level as a merc or a sniper, but its good enough to drop bosses in hardmodes before enrage.
  8. Have to agree, PvE armor looks pretty bad. I'm much more satisfied in my champion gear, even though it looks 'Marauder-ish.'
  9. Have to agree, hunting some of them is really really fun. Although the Green Shard datacron on Belsavis was not fun at all... spent 6 hours looking for Rakata Matrix Cubes to find 3, finally someone replied to me stating he had a 4th one. I like the ones that require you to travel between worlds to find appropriate items in order to get to the area with the said datacron. That's a smart design IMO, makes you think. More of these please
  10. I am now under the impression that these forums are filled with nubs and trolls. I have a 50 Juggernaut, and Rage tree is by far the BEST in PvP. Juggernaut doesn't do enough damage? My up to 4k Smash crits beg to differ. Juggernaut, and Marauder for that matter, are the classes that don't really start shining till around level 40. Until then, grab your Vette if you're tank spec or Quinn if you're dps and simply quest until you get there. I'm pulling top 3 highest dps numbers in warzones all the time, I've tanked some 50 instances no problem. The class has fantastic end game. Problems with early levels have been known since early beta days. If YOU have a problem with leveling this class then either upgrade your gear or play an easier class: Inquisitor and Bounty Hunters are by far the easiest archetypes to get you to 50 with.
  11. Both of those are used for crafting items/mods and either is fine. I went biochem for obvious reasons. And yes, you get your armor with cloak on Tatooine...
  12. Hey, I've leveled mine to 21 with Rage spec. I've switched to Vengeance and I must say my dps has gotten quite higher. So my money is on Vengeance as being the fastest/easiest spec for Juggernauts to level with. Put points into abilities you know you'll use the most or stats that you actually need. This is my current spec at lvl 23.
  13. September 7th... and yeah, tomorrow is a more realistic date of entry.
