For the time beeing this is right. But as i mentioned earlier, i wati now for Guidl Wars 2 and Secret World. Or mabye i have to build my own mmo...

I played every mayjor mmo so far... i started playing computer games a long time ago with games liek The Fairy Tale Adventure My first mmo was --- hold it .... WoW for about 4 month Then i played Aion, WAR, RIFT (each of those till max level) all from launch. And SWTOR is now making headlines with me only playing it for about 1-2 weeks ^^ Yes this game is that bad ... TFTA (above yt link) is still more fun to play than any of the other mmo's. Watch the video and think about this kind of gameplay expeiernce with todays graphic and multiplayer. Still waiting for it to happen...

Actually it is irrelevant because the game sucks, it is ok to play though but it is not a challenge, not something "many" anticipated. If we read news such as "After 2 month the SWTOR frnachise goes strong with over 1.5 million subscribers". Even then it would mean that so many players are quiet easy to entertain (by all standards). THis game is a slap into the face... ok i shut my mouth now and leave the forum. It is sad hug meh!!!!!!!!! where is the mmo for 2012 to make me luv itt??????

No it's not because in the best case (the only way to survive long term on the market) would mean to redesign integral parts of this mmo. But there are the wrong GAME DESIGNER who make lame decisions. In 2-6 month we have Guild Wars 2 and Secret World hitting the market with real innovation and most of the things (like sandboxing) so many anticipate and demand from a modern mmo. Will it be really that great? Idk, but im pretty sure if things do not change dramatically with SWTOR people will be gone as fast as they appeared. And at least that is my impression that this is happening already large scale...

YOu care, because otherwise you would not bother to a) read the forums + b) reply and ask specific why i announce my quitting. And that's normal 'cause most people look what teh majority does. But im at least not the majority, im an opinion maker. Most people who announce they quit are opinion makers. They are angry because they paid money for something they did not need but the EA merchandise tricked them into thinking otherwise.

The reason i announce this is because i paid a lot of money to this franchise already and because this is the highest critic you can voice. However it is likely to be ignored anyway. Most people who quit will likely not say anything or not even start playing in the first place. It is sad what you could have done with this epic story. But unfortunately it only amounts to an average game play experience which is at least 5 years to old to satisfy the "real gamer" who longs for a challenging experience.

Im not satisfied with this game for all the reasons people point out in the forum each day. Maybe they change some things for the better in the weeks ahead or month. Maybe i even come back and re-subscribe one day. But the odds are very slim THis would mean they make game changing decisions, like to create a sandbox setup. Even if this game were already F2P i had a hard time playing the linear setup with all its limitations. To pay for this game each month is one big joke. For me SWTOR was my last EA game. And i try to remember STAR WARS as it was not what some franchise made out of it. My guess is that from the announced 1.5 people playing the game and how things proceed and direction, you have maybe like 10% left in 3 month. Bye Bye

Each player has different needs to make him or her love a game and since we are not all clones opinions tend to differ. The amount of critical post hints that there is somethings which do not satisfy some. Also people spend money during the hype of the game. I posted some constructive feedback myself the other day. And After playing to level 29 i lost the motivation to even log into the game at all. SWTOR is the first mmo game where i do not level to max before i get bored.

Hah! Earlier i made a post about how i missing fog of war. Everything in this game is on auto reveal. Which for people liek me who want something called difficulty in a game are missing. Everything in this game appears rather static and strict. When RPG blockbuster games liek Diablo 2 even have random maps and a fog of war.

Yes. The truth is that pirating helps to market a product, hence is responsible for a commercial success. Just look at the most pirated stuff it all is the top market products. Adobe Photoshop only became a standard because it was so widely available. And Photoshop basically is a ripoff from an amiga paint program called deluxe paint... anyway.

I think you can very well use a product and still be critical. In the instance they pass the act and it turns out they start to censor websites i would consider to start acting on companies who are responsible for the ****up of teh internet. Which would mean canceling subscription or nor buy a game at all, sign petitions, lobby your government etc etc.

It is very telling when you also consider the origin client behavior. I agree.

Maybe bots are even allowed? I love botters, it is pure creativity! I love my shop bot in another mmo i used to play!

But they pulled the support. There is no more backing, because people became aware that it sucks and that support of it sucks. Though it will probably not pass at all. The point is, action speaks louder then words.
