  1. G'day. I'm looking for a trade guild to house my credit farming alt. BC used to have a fairly healthy sized trade guild centered around crafting, the gathering/selling of mats (mainly to each other) and discussing/keeping charts of items on the GTN. If you know of or are part of a trade guild, please direct me to them!
  2. Yay!! Unfortunately I missed yesterday's due to being out of town for work, so I'm glad you're coming back soon! It's been a while, I think the last time I saw you was either last year or the year before's 12 days of Christmas!
  3. I think our dearly beloved Dev was doing some maintenance that morning.
  4. I actually picked up my old Merc a few days ago, and specced him heals. Now, I have a heal Sorc, as well as a heal Op, and I will say that I find the Merc the most fun. I find my AoE heal is always on CD, as I use it so much. It's very usefull, and the added HoT if you stay in the AoE's kolto residue is a great bonus. Your "pew pew" basic attack heals can be used on the move, just like your AoE. Now, people are saying that heal Ops are the best class, and that you can keep your guy up for ages with Surgical Probe. I will go on record and say, in the hands of a some-what skilled player, heal Mercs can keep themselves up for just as long. You're not as squishy as an op is. You have your shield for defensive. You have a stun, a knockback and quite a few AoEs to keep enemies on the move. Running away works. You can throw your AoE down in front of you every...What, 10 seconds? And that's not including your quick heal, and healing scan. So, all in all, I would say Merc healing really isn't bad at all, but is just sorely underrated.
  5. Taunts, guards, aggro. You've got the basics. Get used to "trigger happy" maras/sents who jump in before you have time to drop an AOE, or build up aggro.
  6. I would say Sage/Sorc. It has your basic heals, and is easy to pull off. Combined with your damage reduct. bubble, you won't be as squishy as an Op/Scoundrel. Mercs/Commandos are pretty good for survive-ability. They have good natural damage reducts and DPS isn't half bad either. If you're looking for fun, then I would place my money on an Op/Scou. Your probe HoTs are fun. You can place them on all the important people just before a fight, and your ability to heal on the go is outstanding. Mobility is your tool. However, like I said, I do think Sorcs will be the easiest "noob friendly" healer. It's your basic "stand still and heal" class. And, everyone loves those damage reduct. bubbles. And you'll love it on yourself too. Same with your 2 second stun, the knockback, the 6s stun, the instant self-heal, the lightning or giant rocks.... I withdraw my bet, and replace it on Sorc. XD
  7. I was being completely serious. The fact that your mind associated my post with "useless trolling" displays your doubt for this game.
  8. A title? I didn't notice that, I'll have to check my chars.
  9. I got the achievement the moment I got within 5 meters of the Sniper. It was called something like "Greet the Overwatch" or something.
  10. Post your screenies of the top of the cartel bazaar, with the sniper! http://i41.tinypic.com/288cj7q.jpg
  11. Star Wars The Old Republic is a fantastically made game. The graphics are next generation, the PVP is extremely balanced, and replaying the same side quests on each planet is amazingly fun. None of the planets have any ugly parts, and the load times are swift, and barely noticeable. The Cartel Market and the release of F2P was not a last resort to keep the game running, and subscribers are definitely well appreciated. The expansion released was one of the biggest expansions in MMO history, and was definitely worth the cost. To say subscribers should have gotten it for free would just be being ungrateful. When Bioware releases the infrequent patches, it always fixes the original problem, and never breaks anything else. No MMO beats this one.
  12. I'm glad someone understood what he was saying..
  13. So..For balancing issues, how long is my channel for the Death Star superlaser?
  14. That's where you are mistaken. Troopers of the CLONE WARS era were born on Kamino. The troopers of this era are not clones.
