The quality in writing is proof enough in that regard. From KOTOR 2 to Dragon Age 2, Bioware's writing was all kinds of ***.

I'm still upset with their writing department for the travesty that was Dragon Age 2.

Balance of players on each side? What, like telling a player that "there's too many Republic players on this server. Choose an Imperial class"? I would be inclined to say "[censored] you, I pay the subscription, I play what I want".

I'm not a fan of the concept of Midi-Chlorians because it removes the mystical side of The Force. To me, it would be like explaining that in DnD, one's capability of using magic is dependant on one's potassium intake. It just sterilizes the whole thing.

I want my Kel-Dor, but I think that in terms of era, I'm a few thousand years off.

This is generally just how it winds up. The General forum devolves into the place where people yip and screech that their demands are not being met, or people trolling the hell out of each other out of boredom. Not that I approve of it. I hate how forums can get. You can't stop them, lord knows we've all tried at one point or another on other boards. Keep to smaller boards like the Community tab. The sanity will be a little more resistant to the madness.

I'm not against this. Would make leveling Social easier, and it would save a lot of time standing around going "Um, anyone up for [flashpoint]? Anyone?"

As an individual whos "give a [censored]" about PVP could fit inside a thimble (I'm more interested in the space combat right now), I applaud their exodus, as their leaving should clear up some of that population lag everyone I know complains about.

Telling people to stop trolling...The surest way to get people to continue trolling...Because no one is required to do what you say.

Luckily, The Ebon Hawk server only has the occasional political grumbling in the General chat and is for the most part intelligent discourse, but even when that happens the chat window is small enough I'll sometimes forget it's even there unless I'm actively talking to someone. They say that the one who gets angry, is the one who loses.

Whether it's going against your beliefs for the greater good, persuing your ideals against all odds, or following the beat of a different drum...Stop obsessing over the points. Being a creature of emotion and passion, even me as a Sith Warrior have been known to takes measures that are not all "Death and blood for the blood god, woe to the orphans". Not because it's arbitrarily a Light Side choice, but because in terms of my characters nature, Dark or Light, that is his chosen assesment and action. This is a roleplaying game, chief. Choose decisions based to type, not on what the statistics they'll provide.

While no offense to the ladies of the Old Republic...I would be more impressed with that particular outfit in question if there was a bit more...bounce and mass. But that's just my personal preference.

If you want expression and emotes, look to City of Heroes/villains. They let you assume all manner of position, mood, and response. I would love it if they took a cue from that, but no one ever steals from City of Heroes. If anything, the tools they have for Role-Playing are vastly stealable.

I have a feeling that the Speech Bubble issue is to us as Spears are an item of contention on Skyrim message boards. I'm all for the implementation of speech bubbles, since the chat itself is so small and out of the way, it's easy to miss things if you're not paying attention.
