Lately i have been skipping flashpoints to finish chapter 3's for legacy powers. I'm almost done with the hk51 chain and just have to do Maelstrom, and this character has to do Taral 5 to get there. The problem is i have forgotten where to get either of the missions, can anyone help me? I was told to go to one ship in the fleet (republic) and on the bridge was one of yoda's race. But i just have not seen any one that ship offering any missions. I just need a direction to head.

You missed one. F2p characters can not use/access subscriber made custom chat channels. These are frequently used by guilds to help players get invites so you dont need to have officers on the starter planets or make new characters wait until level 7 to get to the fleet.

The quest in question is "conflagration",its the end of chapter 2.

This is the silliest thread i have ever heard of. That said, put another vote down for Orks, no one has added Gork and Mork into the mix with the wierdboys.

My biggest problem with it is that the commendation rewards are so low compared to the prices of the upgrades, even BW does not really expect you to put much time or effort into space missions.

I dont have any but Kaliyo yet, soon heading to Nar Shadda tomarrow nite, but i have a related question for you all. Do the companions your not using raise levels with you or just the one you have active?

Can you collect lower than max level materials to make gear for low level characters other than by going to low level planets? I have not notices an option to send them on low level gathering missions.

How are you dealing with him, close or far? The first few times i went up against him i tried long range (im a sniper), he wiped the floor with me. Then i tried my non cover close skills, I became the janitor then.
