EA don't seem to realise that bad faith and a strong anti-EA sentiment is driving their bottom dollar down, such as their over usage of microtransactions and the Sim City debacle. They should be rewarding the people who have stuck with SWTOR at it's worst, not punishing us. I'm just sad that as the game seems to be finding it's stride with bug fixes and more regular content updates, that they pull the rug from under the APAC community and triple our latency. Then they tell us it's not to cut costs, it's to help us. BS.

Come to think of it, I don't think that I've ever met anyone from New York that I like. I had a New Yorker for a boss once, he ran 3 different aliases, ripped off a heap of clients and was generally lazy and useless. He also thought he was smarter than he actually was. It doesn't matter how many variables you add to the equation, American players and Australian players both face those. The Americans get an unfair advantage (which from experience, they generally need) in terms of latency. Sure, there are Americans with poor connections, but there are a lot of Australians with crappy connections. Connections with high latency and a greater geographic distance from the server are much more prone to lag spikes as well as higher baseline latency. An Australian PvP guild in Ranked WZs will have a cumulative disadvantage against an American guild because of location and not skill. Always. Oh, and Voidstar is a series of linked rooms you imbecile.

Perhaps you could interview your Chief Executive of Bad Decisions about why he hates the APAC community with such a terminal intensity, and why we can't have a single server instead of being dumped into American servers.

Dude, you are retarded and you spell at the level of a 5 year old. 300 concurrent players on Ilum and the fleet, Monday was still double Xp until sometime in the evening, so a lot of people were levelling alts. Even If they weren't, that's hundreds of concurrent users, not including those in ops, fps, wzs, space combat, planets, etc. If you log on to Dalborra off-peak, there will be a lot more people on the fleet because nobody is off doing content in a group. If you think that SWTOR has 2,000,000 concurrent users, then you're the stupidest person on this forum by a long shot. Not representative of the whole community on GD, but I'm guessing that quite a few people left to get away from some of these obnoxious pre-teen keyboard warriors. Dalborra is so much friendlier.

I'm sorry that MD and GD have population issues, but Dalborra is just fine. I'd rather see it left as is and would welcome our friends from RP and PVP servers to come and join our excellent community. It may not be as big as some of the super servers in NA, but we will not have the same sense of community over there that we had here.

A lot of us have played on US servers, if if you do anything that requires quick reactions, you're already 1/3 - 1/5 of a second behind the reaction time an American player will have. Plus increased lag spikes and Harbinger's regular problems. We're not "Chicken Littles", we just aren't gullible fanboys with rosé coloured glasses who welcome an obvious degradation in service quality.

This. A harsh reality of living in Australia is that our data and server hosting are very expensive. I would pay slightly more to offset this. But no, it's easier to just cut your losses on unsubscriptions and move the remaining Aussies to US servers. They don't care about quality of service or good faith to the community.

Downloaded WoW again last night, their oceanic servers are based in the US but they are an APAC community and WoW is more playable with higher latency than SWTOR is. Don't know that I'll keep playing it as I much prefer SWTOR, will probably just quit MMO's until Titan launches.

I have a ticket in asking for a full refund on expansion. I think we all unsub and resub if they reverse the decision. I'm off to do that now.

Reading through some of the other threads, I agree. I want a full refund on RotHC as I will not be playing on US servers again. I remember how much better the low latency experience is, especially in PvP and with important interrupts (EG LR-5 in LI HM). I play the game, I don't scour the forums whinging about server pops and I feel like I had no say in the matter. I would definitely have voted for a merger if I knew there were an option. PVP'ers have the lowest AU server pop, but will be at a significant disadvantage by 1/3 of a second in NA PVP. Nobody would have a problem with RP guilds on PvE servers. I would just prefer to have our own server(s) like we were promised. Unless this changes, I see no reason to continue playing the game and I will unsubscribe.

Now I lose my ping, my character names and probably my legacy name. We lose a community that we've spent time building and we have no say in the matter. I wonder how many Aussies will unsubscribe now? I can think of at least one. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sitting here looking at my credit card, thinking about why I should let you touch it when the Assassin Tank matrix cube has been glitched since beta. I assume the audio in Nar Shadaa still gitches out when you mount up. Now endgame is broken - both group finder hard modes and the only new operation since they finished KP. Use the test server, fix long-standing problems like the tanking matrix cube, and do some internal testing. I can't believe that you guys listed a change on the patch notes for EC, but obviously never tested EC because it's impossible to finish.

I never have problems with threat since the huge threat buff in 1.3. Dealing with progression content, I'm much more worried about survivability. The fact is, that unlike other tanks we don't have a choice. There is still no Willpower tanking cube, I definetly don't want to add crit to my gear as a tank.

Still broken. Will still be broken in another nine months. All of the threads for this issue go ignored, it's supposedly been escalated, but nothing ever comes of it. I was such a huge advocate and fan of this game, but to not even be given an ETA on a bug that has been in the game for nine months so far, not including the beta, is ridiculous and leads me to the conclusion that nobody at bioware even cares about it.

This is rubbish. The support from Bioware for issues like this is absolutely terrible. Every single Assassin tank is missing out on the option of a relevant raw stats datacron, whilst the other tanks have not only had them since launch, but have had them buffed in 1.3.
