Probably doesnt help that most ranged classes are also the omni classes. Healing dps mitigation etc, dont see a fix comming soon either. The way they have abilities set up it is pretty much the core of how they play.

Old bug, used to be you could type /stuck while in midair and it would do that if done before you 'landed'. Pretty sure it was patched, atm most people just using cheat engine as most information comes from your pc not the server. Honestly i dont think much of pvp in this game.

Solution : just do what all others are doing and reroll a sage/sorc. Due to population it will be a long time coming before they are balanced. Other classes can at least still pve.

Sage/Sorc.. so the answer is an easy yes. CC mixed with ranged mixed with defense bubble mixed in with various instant heals and lightning or rock spam.

Cheats, exploits, and straight out hacks are ruining the pvp in this game. Its actually rather funny, completely reminds me of dcuo when it first launched. Less than a few months later it went free to play as it become obvious soe did nothing about the hackers. Before their network was straight out hacked, you would think companies would learn no? I half expect to receive an email from bioware that my account has been compromised.

Try hybrid, you can get a. stronger shield b.infinite lightining * you are going to spam it anyway* c.instant heal I wont share the build with you, but do suggest you play around with it. You can basicly get the best of all worlds. Yes you wont get that nice ability at the top of the tree, but you dont need it when you have no weakness.

Dont forget to make all abilities effect and be effected by resolve. The major issue atm is that its garbage, too many exceptions on it.

This is sadly very true and the reason my main is an assasin rather than yet another sorc. It is fun to play with the non choosen classes but it does make pvp boring.

Bubble is op because it absorbs rather than mitigate, but even that is not the real issue. I have said it once and i will say it a thousand times, utility. The op actually has a rather good point about sorcs. Making a hybrid build you can get the best of all worlds without sacrificing anything. Even mercs have to sacrifice healing for dps or vice versa, a sorc has all the utility they need without sacrificing anything.

DCUO also had this problem and it went free to play months after opening.. little hinty hint hint to bioware that you cant ignore them.

All very valid points in the op, i think the real issue is the fact that bioware stacked all abilities into 1 super class. The fabled tankmagehealer that most games avoid creating or at least impose a weakness into. As a result any of the pure classes tend to be weaker in comparison. Yes people can point out specific instances of being able to beat the hybrids, but that is more a measure of skill.

How about class 'x' can spam heals over and over. Class 'x' can easily defend itself with a bubble. Class 'x' can easily run away from a fight. Class 'x' can do a lot of dps ontop of the rest of the stuff i am already complaining class 'x' can do. Wait.. there is only one class that can do all that

12. I like staying 49 and not having to challenge myself by facing actual equals. Yes this means leaving last minute before any of that nasty experience gets on me.

The thing is that 50's are mostly on illium and that is mostly empire turf. The republic seem more content staying 49's and quitting warzones so they dont have to face a challenge. This is sadly a big trend in the server i am playing. I could que all day on my 50 and face only a few repubs, switch to my level 20 and i keep seeing the same 49's over and over who quit to avoid getting exp. I guess thats what happens when all the kids want to be a good guy, they run from a challenge. --Bit of a joke but only kids would make the assumption that all empire players are kids because its 'cool'. Maybe some of us are just tired of the old hat hero storyline defeating the 'evilz' empire.

Bubble, yes you wont be main tanking a boss in a raid but you can hold your own. Thanks for proving how many idiots can play sorcs tho
