  1. You can interrupt everything possible and 1 heal will completely recover him. If a pure dps class with a healing debuff (laughable 20%, should be 50%) can't 1v1 a healing class, the game is broken. I can interrupt everything from a scoundrel and all of a sudden his self heals completely heal him up, why? There is nothing to interrupt, you don't have to cast them. All heals should be on a cast timer and interruptable. Your pure dps classes should be your healer killers (Sentinel, Marauder) but sadly they are not. It's called Rock, Paper, Scissors. Tanks counter DPS, DPS Counters Healing, Healing Counters Tanks (to a degree). Right now Healing Scoundrels have no counter.
  2. I was pure Shield Spec Vanguard until 1.3. Now, all I did was swap tanking gear for dps gear and I would regularly dish out 300k+ damage in Warzones such as Voidstar etc. Honestly, any spec can dish out damage pretty well, wearing damage dealing pvp gear you can do it.
  3. Stuns are needed to counter healing, etc. The resolve bar is needed to counter stuns. The entire issue is that when the resolve bar is full, CC does not break. As soon as that puppy maxes all cc should stop and there should be a 2-3 second immunity while it goes back down, granted, someone doesn't try to CC a person with full resolve. Want it fixed BioWare? That's how you do it.
  4. Good luck killing a healer then. It won't happen, he will dot you and heal and laugh at you while you "DPS" him.
  5. IF this were the case, you would see more Pyrotechs/Vanguards and less Sorcerors. You don't see many of them, why? Survivability. They don't have the instant win, they don't have the godmode button. Any, and I mean, any class can be played well if the user streamlines his abilities and learns how to focus his energies on the right things. I'm sorry but if people are using 30+ abilities every fight then they are doing it wrong. No class has a high skill cap in this game or any other current MMO.
  6. No, many people want to nerf Sentinels and Marauders because they should be. I normally don't cry for nerfs but I was one of the Scoundrel Scrappers at release that got the shaft. Keep it going. I have a Vanguard and as Assault Specialist you can be melted in seconds. The difference in this and Sentinel/Marauder is that Vanguards have no "escape" while Sentinels/Marauders get multiple "I win/I escape" buttons making them much more versatile. Personally, as a Vanguard, I much prefer the Tactics tree to the Assault Specialist tree. I take a hit with the damage but I gain much more versatility.
  7. I like this. I think a lot of people here lack the comprehension of what "MVP" means. Most Valuable Player. I don't care if it's me but it should go to someone who is deserving of the title. It's like saying, "thanks." For instance, in Baseball, the league MVP does not go to who was most popular but to who was most valuable to their team. It's not about helping buddies earn something that they quite simply didn't earn themselves.
  8. I'm sorry but this is not a proper estimate of just how overpowered geared Operatives/Scoundrel healers are. Using a complete rotation alternating stuns and interrupts, I cannot drop one without at least 2-3 other people helping. That's 5 casts interrupted and the operative can laugh at it.

    PvP and Resolve Bar

    Please BioWare. The resolve system is still messed up. Two EASY fixes. 1) Stuns need to fill up Resolve quicker 2) When Resolve is full, all CC breaks immediately. As things are now I can be stunned 3 nearly 4 times depending on the stun (why they have different resolve hits I have no idea). Also, if I am stunned with almost full resolve I still have to eat that stun while watching my resolve bar sit at full. It makes no sense.

  11. Boy you kids are spoiled. This concept is actually what I MISS about PvP. Every world should be mixed with no guard interaction or protection. Rely on the player community to group up and defend each other. Asheron's Call was a game I played way back when and off and on since. The Darktide community was tight because you had to defend areas if you wanted to have the best "experience" spots. Even DAoC had it right because of the experience boosts and levelling spots around Keeps. There is a reason why these games thrived for so long.
  12. It's possible, I've seen it too. I have also seen them jump the chasm before the bridges go down before using force speed. Not sure how that one works.
  13. MVP votes should go to highest performers, not the guy with the most friends in a Warzone nor should it go to the ONLY healer every time. I don't know what you need to do but fix this crap. BTW, this is sparked by a guy who had 4 medals, 30k damage, 50k healing getting 4 freakin MVP votes in a Warzone. Come up with some kind of calculation where the top performers from damage/healing/protection and objectives automatically get the highest votes, top 3 guys get extra whatever. Do this or scrap it because it doesn't make them MVP of anything but their buddies buttcrack. For reference, BW should spend less time being forum Nazi's and more time working on the game.
  14. Heh, I should have expected crap like this. And yes, I do know which one to interrupt, I also have a 50 Scoundrel. Like I said, this is the issue I have with the game at the moment. To several of the posts above, it's amazing the lack of literacy skills you folks have, really, amazing.
  15. I can solo drop a Pyrotech in no time, even geared ones. In recruit gear, it is highly unlikely they are doing 400k consistently in Warzones, when I messed with Assault Specialist (pyrotech equiv.) I was getting 300-400K but I am in half War Hero/Half Battlemaster. But, to be honest, in a long voidstar, if you don't get 300K to 400K as ANY CLASS, you are doing it wrong.
  16. The problem is there, just play a Warzone with 3 or more "geared" healers in it, you can kill absolutely nothing.
  17. The PvP in this game is fine, the gear grind is fine, it doesn't take long, at all. The lack of Open World PvP is NOT fine and the status of healing at the moment is NOT fine. Yes, the resolve system is still not working correctly but the only reason is that not all stuns are equal. All stuns should have equal resolve hits. A sorceror can stun me 4 times to my 2 times before immunity. That makes no sense.
  18. Semi geared healers are impossible for me as a geared player to take down. I have tried this on every single spec with my Vanguard, you can't do it. Yet, they can still do enough damage to eventually take me down. I have run a full Shield spec, full Tactics spec, full Assault Specialst spec and you can't get geared healers down. The problem is this: 1) No silence or lockout for heals. It only stops 1 single heal and every healer has 5 ready, so interrupts, unless there are 3 guys on the healer mean nothing. I can play an equally geared healer and go through the following rotation while dpsing and not drop a healer. 1) DPS until cast - interrupt 2) DPS until cast - stun 3) DPS until cast - interrupt 4) DPS until cast - stun 5) DPS until cast - interrupt At this point all the healer has done is rotate through their heals, while using their CC break to keep healing up with instant heals/heal probes. Now, think about how long that person is not getting a heal off but because of instant cast crap they are allowed to literally face tank me. That makes no sense. My only hope is that I keep them healing themselves long enough for help to arrive while others kill the other guys. The problem with this though, if a team runs with 3-4 healers you cannot kill them, it is impossible. You can put someone on each healer interrupting and it doesn't matter, you can all attack and focus a single healer, it doesn't matter the others will keep them up. It has literally gotten out of hand. I don't mind getting stunned, it's part of the PvP in this game, I don't mind getting slowed, it's part of the PvP in this game, I do have a problem with playing a situation perfect, and being laughed at because of lack of what I need to take down a healer. If you look at any Warzone video out there, they do what they do because they have healers supporting them. I just went on a 8 game win streak with 1 healer named Nagisa on my server, I enjoy it to when I get it, it makes things too easy. Give classes that can interrupt the ability to lock them out of heals. Lee'roy Jung Ma
  19. There are so man problems with this game that MUST get fixed and they are relatively small. I don't understand why they are not being fixed. Here is a short list of "small" things that should be fixed, like, now. 1) SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that I am having to log on and off periodically to fix a sound issue makes no sense. Fix it, don't work around, it, fix it. 2) Companion AI, why is there not an assist mechanic??????????????????? It has been asked for since day 1, and yet it still does not exist. In a game that relies on companions, the fact that we have little to no control over ours just screams oversight, or worse, stupidity. 3) Ok, so this isn't small, but still. The trend of completely breaking classes in order to fix other classes. It's not just Bioware, but for some reason Developers think that gamers enjoy this never ending cycle of OP, not OP, OP, not OP. We want balance folks. Breaking a class (Scoundrels/Operatives unless healer) and then creating overpowered classes (Sentinels/Marauders) is NOT BALANCE. Just balance it. It's really very simple, you put a number in your head, say, 20,000. You then make every classes abilities with the "perfect" talents for damage then able to reach that 20,000 within the same amount of abilities if done perfectly. The only way you can go is down by not having the perfect spec or rotation. 4) Healing (PVP), there is no way a healer should survive with 2+ guys on them interrupting. YOU MUST HAVE LOCKOUTS. If I interrupt a heal, no more heals until the lockout is done. That is how it is supposed to be, otherwise it's pointless when they can use the other 3 heals they have no problem. I am busting my butt and supporting you guys because I enjoy this game and want it to succeed. I realize that an MMO is huge and there are so many factors, bullcrap. Have some pride in your work and get it right. My ENTIRE GUILD has left, I am the only one left, that's 30+ people. Stop making new content and start fixing the old before it's too late.
  20. I would attribute this to there being starter 50 gear available with expertise on it so no more fresh 50s with no expertise gear to get larger numbers against.
  21. Every Warzone begs to differ, even in Huttball I use it quite a bit against big groups. Lee'roy
  22. 3 is about the max you can get doing a single "factor" of any Warzone. Those tanks are guarding, killing BCs, scoring, and doing damage, which earn them those medals. Do more than heal and you will too.
  23. Ungeared players vs geared healers = impossible even using an Interrupt. I'm sure that's what he is encountering. On my Scoundrel I have run across this many times, the only hope I have is to put enough pressure on them that they aren't healing others.
  24. Well, first off, not all Scoundrels do 10k burst in 4 attacks. Full Battlemaster Scoundrels with Adrenal up and buffs will do that against. But, guess what, ALL BATTLEMASTER geared classes can do the same against the ungeared. Plain and simple.
  25. On my Scoundrel who is 50 and only rank 40 in half Centurion, half Champion and half PvE/Modded gear I can still compete in most cases. Hint for fresh 50s. Make sure that you have a Battlemaster's bag bought and 1000,1000 commendations before you hit 50. Also, make sure to buy every single 48-50 mod you can buy and put it in your gear. Also, go to Ilum and do the daily/weekly, I have always been able to find groups there. Get it done and you will start 50 with 3-4 pieces of something already.
