I did all the long time consuming parts and then was too sick for the final easy steps :-( It really makes me angry, it's just one of those things I can't get past, ya know? Please help me get past this hurdle so I can enjoy the game again, I keep trying but it keeps gnawing at me I can't be a Chiss Jedi with a Chiss companion all because of severe Crohn's Disease (15+ surgeries so far, lost count lol)... they should really just change all the sub rewards to sub veteran items like Star Trek Online did IMO... unlock things are you progress through the months of subbing.

Just wondering if there's any chance of being able to get this companion again ever? I ended up in the hospital for the end of the event so missed it by not getting a light side char to max level in time... that was all I needed and was looking forward to doing it until I ended up in the hospital for my 13th or 14th surgery for severe Crohn's Disease (just had surgery #15 in July, hopefully the last!). If you guys could add any way to get her again I'd be eternally grateful, unfortunately support won't do anything for me :-( Thanks for reading! Andrew

it shouldn't take much work at all from my experience programming, as most of the work has been done by activating the same thing for other equipment. Maybe the way they programmed things it is harder than we think tho. Either way I think it would be worth it for replayability for me at least.

can't you get Shae from doing missions, didn't you just get her early from sub reward?

I quit the game because I'm disabled and ended up in the hospital for the rest of the event, one level away from unlocking her, and support couldn't help me. I'd be back in a flash if they added another way to get her (on a 7 day referral sub right now solely so I could post here lol).

Where was that stated? On their front page? On the pre-order page when you went to buy it?

[edit] ok I checked my e-mail and it was announced on the 21st of July that the order in which you pre-order is the order in which you play, my mistake. I wish I woulda known, lol... Of course I would have pre-ordered earlier if I had known I would get to play earlier, look at my creation date on this account, and the fact I'm stuck in bed on disability(through my insurance not your tax dollars) anyway. I would have saved money too, cause I think the dollar was at 108 in July, lol. I'm frustrated, but I'm filling my time, got the book that's supposed to go before this game, it's not bad (Star Wars: The Old Republic, Fatal Alliance). It is really hurting the whole launch experience for me, to be honest. But your biggest mistake? Letting everyone play the beta and getting them addicting and then saying "now wait to play, but you can watch other people play". And doing it right before Christmas! You gotta do something, some kind of estimate or SOMETHING to stop 500,000 people from checking their e-mail every wave, opening it like a present on Christmas Eve, only to find their inbox empty, or full of coal (aka viagra spam). You are causing quite a lot of disappointment every day as far as I have read by all the posts, don't make them call you the Grinch! LOL!

maybe they are saving strain on the hard drive with all those character creations, or maybe just the patching/login servers, and I also believe they will be adding servers as it continues.

they're not rebels in this game :-p Find a good guild on that server, that's your best bet.
