  1. And I myself have wondered why BW stated sin/shadow is a tank class (light armour and shealth, with 1 of their most powerful lightsaber attacks only works if your behind enemy, meaning either you have lost aggro and need to steal it back or that ability is completely redundant.)

Shadow Wrap, a high end talent in the tank tree, makes Shadow Strike/Maul usable from in front of the mob.

  2. I'd describe the sound as more of a "thunk". It's...interesting, different. But I'll stick with my Gree saber since I'd rather have a spiffy blade effect than handle effect that I can hardly see.

Sounds more like a door opening to me.

    *Chunk*

    "Honey, I'm home!"

  3. It's not about the comms or the loot, it's about finishing something I started and couldn't complete at the time.

And anyone who says they soloed Loell at level-appropriate is simply lying.

No, just better at the game than you seem to think is possible. Tank with healer comp or vice versa has no issues with soloing champs like Loell and Tharsis as long as you keep your gear up to date with planetary comms/cybertech.

  4. The boss explodes killing his adds but the healer still has his friends chasing him around. At this point I don't know what to do. Not sure if I should bash my head on the keyboard because the healer blatantly ignores my calls, don't know why the mobs are losing aggro two seconds into a taunt and don't know how to respond to the healer's "OMG TANK" cries.

Fixate mechanic. What I *think* happens is that they fixate on the first person to generate threat after they spawn, so it's always the healer if you're using the shuttle, but stacked on the boss the tank has a chance with a well-timed surge/sweep/slow time to be that first person. Taunt will override it, but only for the duration of the taunt, once the taunt is up they're going right back on the fixate target.

So yeah, the healer was a tard and wasn't a damn thing you could do for another 39 seconds.

  5. There are people which only PVP or PVE that's where the terms come from.

So you ignore the point by trying to argue it's just semantics. You choose which content you do and which rewards you wish to pursue. These labels you cling so tenaciously to are artificial divisions. If you're so very skilled because you only go up against dynamic opponents who change all the time (ignoring the fact that you'll always queue against the same people anyway, so where's your vaunted variety), then surely these scripted PvE opponents will be an absolute cakewalk for your and your godly crew of PvP blowhards.

Get over yourself. Put up or shut up and stop whining that you don't win the lottery when you refuse to even buy a ticket.

  6. Ty for all advice. My situation is way better now, because I don't generate as much threat as before cause I only place HoTs on Tank. Also Surgical Probe and Healing Trance made difference. Often there is still 1-3 mobs on me but with bubble I can manage. If situation starts to seem too bad, if there is more than 3 mobs on me I can use Cloud Mind, even if some tanks and DPS seem not like it. Luckily most of them accept apologizes:-)

Good to hear things are improving for you personally, although it does sound like it's you that's finding your feet rather than getting better groups. You should NEVER have to apologise as a healer for getting mobs off you, they shouldn't even be on you in the first place.

  7. . I almost fall off my chair because tanks on TRE usually slap guard on the healer and call it a day.

Glad it's not just me noticed that. Most of my toons are on Shadowlands but since rolling a few on TRE, I thought something odd was going on.

It's painful to see sometimes, even when the same dps pulls aggro time after time after time. I just click it off on my scoundrel, after 3 such clicks I'll say something.

Especially saving the content of quickbars, too. Both is urgently needed for fast respeccing between DPSing and healing or tanking and DPSing on multi role classes.

Oh god, that would be so nice. Whenever I switch between PvE and PvP specs I have to chant "fix your bars, fix your bars" otherwise I go into a warzone and wonder why I'm not dropping Slow Release Medpac on my target and getting "Requires Upper Hand" instead, cos it never puts the 3 spec-related skills where I always have them.
