  1. I still need to determine which Toon I'm going to take through it. I am only going to run it on a single Toon for now until I see where the story is heading. I'm on a 6 month sub, which reupps on Oct. 20 and I figure by April I'll be able to judge where things are heading and whether or not to cancel my sub. Happy I'll be having friends over next week while my folks are away so I can have some support. I'm likely going to cry.
  2. Since I'm not getting into spoilery territory here, there's no need for the tags. The intelligence world is divided into two types of jobs: analysts and operatives. Lana is an analyst and Theron is an operative. Analysts pool over data to glean intelligence and typically do not go out into the field. Operatives are the field agents who handle the operational (Cypher Nine, James Bond) stuff. On Ziost we saw Lana having to handle matters pertaining to operations and failing; Theron also failed in terms of properly accessing the capabilities of the threat, which is the purview of the intelligence analyst.
  3. Over the next few months I may wind up unsubbing and I have been subscribed to the game from the get-go. I have a very strong attachment to this character--the only romance I find appealing.
  4. The leaked info was quite a gut-punch for me. I'm currently working on a fanfic that I will post on the 22nd--it is how I have been expressing my feelings and hopes. In the JK and IA storylines we saw that extensive plastic surgery and personal holographic projectors can make a person appear as another. Right now we cannot trust our own eyes and ears. Time will tell whether or not the Traitor is wearing a sophisticated mask to obscure his or her true identity. Can't wait to discuss all this in greater detail starting on the 22nd.
  5. We're talking about a conspiracy here. There are multiple traitors involved and it would make sense for at least one of the specialists to have become disloyal. Sana could have had a vision that causes her to no longer trust us, but she isn't any sort of expert at explosives. She reached out to either Hylo or Aygo who could supply the needed expertise to attempt to assassinate us. They could have brought the doctor in as well in order to potentially aid in designing it--thought I doubt that particular Hutt is part of the conspiracy. The person who planted the bomb on that computer is simply a trusted agent and not one of the principal conspiritors. The Scions have to also be involved--we have all witnessed how treacherous they are after all.
  6. One thing that might help us all be more understanding is to know just how large the Team is.
  7. Communication needs to greatly improve. It is inexcusable that the player community was not given some sort of heads-up that 5.2 might be delayed. Surely a brief notice six days or a week before launch would prove sufficient. Additionally, if the Team manages to get everything straightened out and launch on schedule, imagine the PR boost you would have earned. Instead, you devs seem to constantly--and needlessly--shoot yourselves in the feet by being needlessly secretive.
  8. I believe Bioware needs to look at this in terms of monetary policy. The only financial fee that we have that is similar to interest rates in a RL economy is the market fee. They should consider making this fee fluctuate based upon all the data they have access to: •current market prices per item; •52 week high/low per item; •the H/L spread and average amount of credits each LEGACY has; •BW "ideal" prices for these items. The market fee should be viewed as an interest rate and should be on a sliding scale based upon given inflation targets that the devs have established (the "ideal" price). The more that prices differ from the "ideal," the higher the GTM fee should because this is the only mechanism that takes money out of the economy. The only way to reduce inflation is to remove money from the economy; central banks do this via interest rates charged to banks for borrowing money from the central bank. This interest cost or surplus is then indirectly passed onto their customers via adjustments made to interest rates on a variety of financial accounts and securities. The formula used to calculate the new GTM fee also needs to be based upon the amount of aggregate capital that each Legacy possesses in order to control wealth accumulation. If the Galactic Market is going to wind up seizing the majority of the profits of the whales and price gougers, this will cause prices to come down simply for the reason that the sellers will be able to pocket more of their asking price.
  9. I like the suggestions regarding how to deal with credit spammers. Limiting their ability to communicate would be quite a useful way to shut them down. However, this limit should not be applied to all F2Pers, since, surely, with all your precious "metrics" that have been accumulated, it should be relatively easy to identify a profile of the spammers and place these limits on legacies that are fitting the profile. E-mails that have lots of nonsense in their subject lines should be an obvious red flag as well as messages being sent out with the same subject each and every time. Grammar, usage and spelling errors should also factor into the analysis. I, too, am tired of the PVP whining and catering. I have found PVPers to be a bunch of snobbish, cliquish, arrogant ***** and this is a reason why I rarely PVP anymore on my 65s. Something that may help with this could be for allowing players to opt-out of arena warzones or to make it so they have to opt-in to them. That is where the irritating behavior is most pronounced based upon my observations. However, I have no idea of how to handle that from a coding perspective, as I am a historian and not a computer programmer. I agree with the second point. I won't be participating in this "event." I also agree with the SirTwist's third point. However, I have not been through all the class missions on Rishi, the only one I find intriguing is the Sith Inquisitor's continued quest for immortality. That is the only one with an ongoing thread Imp side--haven't done Rishi yet with all my Pub toons, but the JK one was a real boring snoozer. However, this likely has more to do with my personality being very Nox-ish: lusting for power and all that.

  11. I saved the Imps first, then the Pubs.
  12. More feedback would be an excellent idea. Provide us with a rough bi-yearly roadmap along with monthly updates stating if targets are going to be met on time. The roadmap could provide monthly or quarterly (for more intricate content) target dates (and let us know if those dates are hard or soft). The more you people communicate with us, the less grouchy we will be. The Roadmap could include PvE and PvP information re: new chapters, new flashpoints, new operations, new warzones, new recruitment missions (since I think its fairly certain we aren't going to get all of them by the end of Season One. Speaking for myself, I don't have a problem with this at all.), new events, etc. Also, please don't just mention that X will be happening--please provide us with some level of detail, with that level increasing as we get closer to the launch date. This way the community could provide feedback to make events more successful for all concerned. Also, the PTS should be used more often to try-out new concepts to generate feedback--even if it would only be on some sort of limited-access basis.
  13. Zakuul must be either destroyed or its entire population enslaved in a harsh, oppressive Imperial fashion. I would not be surprised if war begins--as the immediate cause--again between the Empire and the Republic over how Zakuul is to be punished.
  14. Nothing going on with Theran, though he is visible, but nothing on the romance front. Gault and Vette aren't my cup of tea, but if you like them I suppose you'll get a kick out of the chapter. I was thrilled by one of the decisions I made at the end of the chapter involving a character I have never liked.
  15. The thing I would really like to see for the relationship is for my first toon (male SI) to be able to take him to Belsavis and have "Mother" fix his lack of force-sensitivity. Hello new apprentice.
  16. I picked the DS option involving Satele. I do wonder if there will be blowback, but I'm sure things can be patched-up with Theron, since it isn't like he converse all the time with her by coms or holo. I have hopes and dreams of corrupting him and taking him to Mother on Belsavis to see if she can fix my "broken" boyfriend's lack of Force sensitivity.
  17. Given that our favorite SIS Agent has been put on leave by that bone-headed Suresh (and Mommy probably wasn't thrilled with the whole Sixth Line thing either) and that the SI can argue with Lana and get her to tender her resignation to Marr, in these desperate straits, could Theron Shan well become the Minister of Sith Intelligence?
  18. I hope between now and October we get more Rise of the Emperor. Marr knows he's dying, so it would be nice to see him destroy the Emperor in some sort of fitting grandiose fashion. I've always had some sort of head canon that Marr and Satele should give their lives in the process of permanently destroying Vitiate. If Theron doesn't make it, in my head canon, my Nox will be very distraught that his bf is gone. Vowlran should survive--he's just so amusing. Last thing for my head canon: my crew are holed up together and all die together in a battle to the death. Khem is the last to fall. HK was deactivated by Talos beforehand and shipped off to Lana.
  19. If you look at the KotFE site and look at the profile for Valkorion, you discover that he is animmortal Emperor. Coincidence? Perhaps; perhaps not. If Vitiate is not irrevocably destroyed before the new xpac lands, I'm guessing that Valkorion is his latest Voice.
  20. I have a potential solutio fo the whole nerfing issue. How difficult would it be for PvE and PvP ON PvE SERVERS ONLY to have damage assigned based on which versus environment the player is in? This way the PvPers can have their 2.7 second Force Storm and PvEers can have it go back to the ~5 seconds it used to be. I believe this would help keep balance to PvP (which I partake of only occasionally) and allow PvEers to really cut loose. It took me a some time to get used to my Force Storms dealing less damage, and I found it needlessly irritating as I might PvP only a handful of times per month. If the PvE and PvP environments are each operating with their own separate damage calculations, things would be far better for us all. Of course whether or not this would be possible from a programming perspective, I have absolutely no idea. However, I believe the idea has merit and should be explored.
