  1. I mean this is some very serious calculation to have adjusted an ability by 5.15% and not just 5.0% .... either that or the poo they threw at the class change wall was sliding down the board a bit.
  2. That and 16+ Pages of players in general agreement on what the real issue is. I mean all they would have needed to adjust was the surge nerf they did to marksman before and change le utilities...
  3. Not sure what people are on about, but it is working. Raced a guildy who had rank 5 and I had rank 3, i started early and he overtook me after a bit, it is working. But unlocking it for 50+ chars is just not feasible. Make it a 10-15 mil legacy unlock or something.
  4. Would be nice to get some of the benefits of this change: "The Mission “Introduction to Starfighter” now rewards substantially more Fleet Requisition. for alts you did it 2 years ago but never played GSF again on them. Just as a nice little extra maybe...
  5. Speaking purely from a PvE Standpoint: Yes, a baseline 30% DR for AOE should be the minimum and not tied to the 45s AOE taunt, swap it to the same thing that infiltration/deception has its on. How about some sort of 2-3% DR per dot that is actively ticking with a cap of 1 per different ability. 4-9% mostly constant would bring it to at least the bottom of the other classes DR, as it stands you take too much damage in the spec in PvE and your heals don't line up with when you need it. Also add 2 meter to death field / force in balance so we can double press the button on revan core and don't have to place it or fall down.
  6. Update: Some mood's have their moods changed, but one mood still is moody Mood: Terrified is still 120, should be 30 as a bronze item. Emote Chair 5 is 60 still, should be 30 as a bronze item.

The other Mood that were high, are now 30, so some worked out. Might have to run a multi-pass now for the others

  9. Pick up the Mission from the console itself and travel there, similar like the heroics. It's in the former PvP Section, big planning table - middle button is master mode urpisings.
  10. We ran through all but Trial in one setting, was fun enough, but most are not worth the CXP to ever do again, there is more relaxed stuff to do. If there was a weekly for 100k CXP to do them all once i'd do them, but this way is not enough cxp. We did Trial and Error MM the next day and after some derping around killed it. Traps boss you need a quick tank and a good healer, running in circles works if done right, bring medpacks and adrenals for your tank, shroud helps. I was on a 224 geared shadow tank, still not an easy fight, need some luck as well with the initial adds. Last boss you can play around a bit, but it is all about efficiency at the start and bringing plenty heals. http://imgur.com/a/kdZNI
  11. Got auto-fixed after the last patch. Only thing I contacted CS for was <Initial Uprisings (Story)> <Initial Uprisings (Veteran)> after doing them twice with guildies.
  12. Problem is if you set the cut-off point to high, or require some other arbitrary kind of "needed x amount" of activity, the complains would be even higher. On the other hand you can and will be again able to get the BiS gear in the game... from standing in a corner. That should never be the case and makes a joke out of guilds that clear or try to clear nim/master mode operations.
  13. You only get to kick people if you managed to persuade 50% or more to vote the "afk" person out of the match if they have stopped contributing. A reduction in rewards for GSF and PvP is needed, you should at least need to get "some" medals to get rewards. From many matches in GSF I have seen though, many new players don't get any medals even if they try when playing against "better" players (be it skill or ship upgrades). The AFK person won't care about ship upgrades, cause for afk you don't need upgrades correct. components, cxp for afk - bad design. cutoffpoint needs to be a certain amount of medals as minimum.
  14. Rewarding Unsassambled Components for Weeklies and Dailies will just encourage less active play. People queue and watch a movie and afk as much as possible. You are starting to reward this behavior again. Increasing the amount and speed to get gear is the right step, but this is not helping as much as you would think. Wintrading or losing on purpose will rise again, even reseting rating for those people won't matter cause they got their components.
  15. Just let us use the Command Tokens on gear as well, same as the PvP tokens. Problem solved. You'll end up with 1500-2000 Command Tokens at 300, adjust the price so 2000 or 2500 is what you need for half the 242 set. Done - no more complains, predictable 4 day grind to endgame (just like in all other expansions)

  17. Cause people don't do stuff efficiently and complain on forums instead of the easy grinding that you can do in a predictable amount of time while watching a movie. Whatever you are playing is inefficient then. Ask Bioware to balance out the content for CXP farming. Up to Command rank 180 -> 350% + 10% Char (char unlock 3.5 mil creds) + 100% from Boost (200 Command Tokens) = whatever way bioware thinks that this adds together and in whatever way they think percentages work I did Chapter 2 Master on a Shadow in 224 gear. You need to kill 3 mobs in total and the Monolith and since you are squishy shadow you need to kite. If you can't beat Monolith you can cheese him slowly. If it takes to long buy a crafted 240 armoring and a hilt for MH & OH for 4-6 mil total. You end up with ~4600 CXP per 6 minutes - a boost of 2h lasts you 15-20 runs - like a 90-100k CXP per 2h. When you get over rank 180 you only get ~3600 CXP per 6 minutes - like 70-80k CXP per 2h. (Ignoring the DvL stuff). FYI: Republic Side is a lot harder then Imp Side, Darth Marr is a joke. Doing it on classes like Merc or Marauder is a joke. Imp side you can skip all but 2x 3 Trooper packs which die easy enough. Marauder can facetank monolith, shadow has to kite if undergeared cause all your stealth stuff is useless for the fight. Grab all the useful loot from the Crates. A full set of 230 or 234 would only cost you 1 extra run, but will save you in killing time each run. I went from 10-220 roughly in 3 days.
  18. Well if they would go beyond 180 and rise in price that would be fine, at least then they would have a use. But even with alts you "should" get a positive balance out of each boost after tier 1, meaning you earn more then the 200 you spend on it.

I understand you can use them with the Unassambled pieces from Operations, but after playing for 3 days and getting from 10 to 250 Command Rank, even when buying the 100% boost for 200 untill Command Rank 180 I now have no use for those anymore and they are at 1400. Friends who kept playing for a while are at the max of 3000. Shouldn't there be another use for them like buy tokens or upgrade them?
  20. Hey Eric I just wanted to give some feedback after not being subbed for 2 month. (Friend made me come back) It's getting way to complicated with the gearing. I can see what the team is doing, trying to help players, but it's just getting more complicated each time you post updates. I wasn't here for 2 month and the options for gearing are so very complicated now, I just shut the game down after a few minutes. By this point even the RNG from the old Battlemaster PvP gearing felt less random (which is was). From what I understood the whole point of CXP was to make it easier to gear and give everyone a chance at end game gear. You added Unassembled tokens again and currency that goes together with these tokens in addition to the normal CXP gear drops. It seems you are crumbling under peer pressure and trying to be helpful, but are too afraid to go full throttle. Increasing the CXP gain overall, is a right step - but your are not going far enough. Currently what I heard when I came back was - "Ignore the system, just get stuff crafted". At this point I don't even care enough to look up what all the options all are that I have to get gear and upgrade and whatnot. --- "What you are doing now is beating a dead horse [CXP] and laying the innards in a way you think people want them to come out of the horse [un-Tokens, more CXP]." If you really want to make it easy to gear, just use "1" (one, uno, eine) currency that is legacy based and put a vendor on the fleet that allows you to buy whatever tokens you want. (Upgrade tokens for shells like the last PvP system if you want it tiered) Make the CXP packs drop that currency and have bosses drop that currency as well instead of all the tokens. One currency to make it easy, easy to adjust quickly, easy to give everyone equal gear for time spend. You already made everyone who wants to PLAY THE GAME at end level a FORCED SUB - be nice to your customers, don't waste their time. So what if people gear up quicker? They'll gear an alt or whatever - they'll still play the game - make HARD CONTENT so they even have a reason to gear up in the first place. TL: DR: Too many options now - take the RNG out of the game - give the same currency to spend on any gear - no gear drops. Just the same currency everywhere. Make it reasonable to gear up and just up the overall CXP gain. Sorry if it went of topic, of rails or whatnot, but I thought feedback would be good.
  21. I would say, it was an attempt to explain to the DEVS how players view the rewards from the CXP Crates. Which leads to mainly disintegrate everything that is crap - which 95% of Tier 1 is, if you were in 224 gear before.

Bioware Austin: If you were waiting for the opportune moment... ...to make a Dev Posting to announce changes to the CXP gain and some way to lessen the annoyance of the CXP system... today would be it. The number of overall complains and players unsubbing over the current model is high. I understand you front-loaded the story content and CXP is supposed to last half a year or so. But you managed to drive most hardcore players away already anyway. Your last expansions were and are aimed more at casuals. Casuals don't want to grind. Hardcore Players will always try to find ways to (legit) exploit the CXP gains and use the most efficient CXP/hour activities. But why not just even the CXP out for all activities? And make it 4x or 6x as much per hour? Whats the harm? You have a weekly cap anyway. Try to make quick Ranked Matches and Farming Champion mobs should not be the "endgame" for this game... You literally MADE PEOPLE LEVEL an extra 8 CHARS for DvL, now your system says go play on 1 for half a year. Playing alts is content by your own use of it for DvL. Don't roll back on that. If you don't know about un-subs - read these reddit postings. or your General Discussion Forum. - My sub runs out in 5 days and as it currently stand I'll not resub either. (Though I have to say I enjoyed the 9 new chapters a lot.)
