  1. I love the game, and I don't mind that the female is highly objectified (it's an MMO after all!), but shouldn't the men be too? Star Wars is 35 years old now, and by keeping with the sexism of the original movies, things seem unfair and out of touch. There should be at least as many "flirt" options with males as females; there should be same-sex flirting; at the very least there should be a "Slave Boy" costume as revealing as the "Slave Girl." Will you pledge to work on balancing the sexism that's rampant in the game, and soon?
  2. Just did this with several guildies. This guide was invaluable, especially for understanding the sequence of the panels and which stabilizers they activated. Just a few things we learned... Sages with Rescue were very useful for trading people out of and Knights with Force Leap were able to move around more easily. Rather than try activating all four panels and risk losing our person at GP1, we decided to rotate things. We had six people with a seventh joining in a little later. We activated the four panels and managed to get two people up to the datacron. Then they came down. One was a Trooper who was helped to panel D by our Sage that had been camped there. The other was a Sage who used Rescue to retrieve and replace our Smuggler at panel A. The Smuggler and other Sage and another Trooper who'd joined us were next up to the datacron. Then they came down and replaced me (a Guardian at panel C) and the last person (another Guardian at panel B) after we used Force Leap to jump back up to them on the central crosswalk. When we two Guardians were at point 3, I made it to point 4, but the other one had problems, so after some LOS maneuvering, he was able to Force Leap to me. All in all, it took us over 2 hours because none of us had done it before, and we were having lots of trouble with the grapple points and dying when those who had the datacron were trying to get back down to rotate out. Not the most efficient method, but it was successful, and there was never any risk we might have to all restart the whole GP1 nightmare.
  3. Yeah, he heals just fine for me as well and I've left his attacks functional. Not sure why, but I know others in my guild have had problems with him. Just not me. I do however have the bugged Crazy Talk mission.
  4. Helig's strategy worked fine for me, although getting the timing right was really tough and it took me about 10 tries. I would add that in that 3rd wave, after you use Awe (or Fear, whatever) on the adds, interrupt the Emperor BEFORE you take them out. Otherwise, he might get off that instakill before you can take the others out. And be careful about always having one interrupt (Push, Hilt Strike and Stasis will all interrupt him too!) available if at all possible. I have Corellia-level orange gear on me, but had not kept up T7, since I use Doc almost exclusively. But once I got the timing right on interrupts, he went down. (Also, if you're having trouble, make sure you're repairing your gear at the med droid, and don't forget to use stims!) Thing was... this was really hard and I got frustrated. But that's a GOOD thing! It's not impossible, but it is really hard. If it was simple and easy, it would be a let-down like the OP had. But because I had to struggle through several times it was much more satisfying when I finally did it. Anyway, thanks Helig for the strategy advice. Good luck to all of you!
  5. I agree that this seems a little over-whelming. We all were immediately running (yes, forward) as soon as we were pulled in. Everyone still was getting at least one tick of damage from the lightning storm. Each tick was doing about 2.5k damage. We were also repairing gear and popping stims with each go. Party: Lvl 39 Melee tank (Guardian) Lvl 36 healer (Sage) lvl 34 Ranged DPS (Commando) lvl 31 Ranged DPS (Gunslinger) I did manage to take him down with a different team a couple days ago where running seemed to work, but even then we had to try it about 5 or 6 times. It seems like if the team is just not quite perfect on their timing then it's extremely difficult. Possible, yes, and with most teams (most are NOT perfect) after about 5 or 6 times it could be done. But, A) this flashpoint is already quite long, B) the respawn points are quite far from the bosses, and C) Who wants to die and run back that many times? Sure, it's doable. But is it fun?
  6. Just confirmed having our Type 3 folks die at the door crack and the Type 2s rezzed them inside.
  7. I get screenshots using Print Screen, even during conversations. My problem however is that they don't seem to work all the time. Only about 1/4 of the screenies I take actually show up in the folder. My theory that I'm currently testing is that the naming convention only uses a timestamp by minute and not second. So if you take more than one shot in a single minute it will only save the last one you do. Can anyone verify that? Also, does anyone know if there's a way to take a screenshot without the UI?
